Nice little hotel and restaurant in quiet surroundings

Very relaxed atmosphere, clean and cosy. Good breakfast and great outside pool. Rooms have all the basic comforts, good bed, airco and an individual balcony to hang out and relax. Raysa and Mirko are the perfect hosts! A bit off the beaten track, but perfect if you look for quiet

Can do better............

The hotel is located on the heights north of San Juan del Sur. Proper welcome but no command of English. Simple but sufficient room with a magnificent sea view on the 1st floor. Avoid rooms not overlooking the sea.
The restaurant is sad, sinister. We were alone in a space equipped with 4 tables with a single white bulb lighting this space. The pool and buildings are not lit at night, the 4 pool chairs serve as a bed for the bulldog for the night. Quiet is asked after 10am which we appreciate but a couple of guests who stayed one more night than we informed us that the owners partied late at night. English-speaking staff, care for outdoor lighting and respect for guests would add to this charming little hotel.

Old hotel with poor comforts

Small hotel with panoramic view. Awful road to get to the hotel. Outside San Juan. You need a car.
Very basic comforts, very old airco (not sufficient to cool the room so difficult to sleep in June). Very slow service at the bar. Would not recommend.

A slice of paradise

How lovely to have lunch at this beautiful small hotel and restaurant with panoramic views and wonderful service. Highly recommended. Next trip we will definitely stay at the hotel. At the Botton of the driveway and across the road is =the beautiful and welcoming beach that you pretty much have all too yourself for $1.00!

I stayed for 2 nights and it was quiet / peaceful and I could take my vacations in a relaxing environment…!
The breakfast menu was amazing and they adjusted my food to my intolerance of certain foods…
They’re pet friendly and very respectful…
