Do not book this hotel!

I rarely leave reviews and don’t tend to listen to the ones I read before we go but can’t agree more with the terrible reviews about the service of this hotel. We booked a deluxe double room and received an attic room but the owners are lying that they gave us the correct room, refusing to provide any evidence of this and refusing to refund the difference in the cost that we paid, despite us having proof that we received the wrong room. The attic room was average at best but considering what we paid, absolutely not worth it.

Dont Book this place

Do not stay at this hotel. They make charges on your credit card without authorisation and despite many attempts and promises to refund the unauthorised charge - I am still waiting over 12 months later. And the room was dirty and not what I booked.

Arrived on the 14 th October for a two night stay for daughter’s 21st birthday . The hotel is not manned , therefore you let yourselves in with a code. The front door is smashed! The Lobby is dirty and unkempt !
The lift is tiny . The rooms are dirty ! Dropped a comb on floor ,bent down to retrieve and found two dirty odd socks under bed and a pair of soiled knickers!
We did laugh but not good ! They say you get what pay for but cleanliness should be a given !
The door off shower was dangerous , the dust in room was unbelievable ! Just simple things would put this hotel right ! First thing though is for the hotel to change name from” boutique” as it’s anything but !
Manager needs to speak to housekeeping ASAP !

No Reply

I stayed in this hotel with a colleague for 2 nights for business purpose, i need the invoice to submit to my company. I call the hotel, no answer, i sent couple of e-mail no reply nothing. Now i have to cover the cost myself!!
I do not recommend to anyone...

Weird. Nice bedding and good location though.

I was in the loft room, which looked amazing online! Alas, whilst it was still relatively cool - all was very rough around the edges.
There is no reception for starters, and the manager - whilst having accepted my early check in - was nowhere to be seen. I arrived and had no idea which room I was in (apparently he'd forgot to send an email) or the code which was how to get into the building, let alone my key card. Had to call the emergency telephone to get him to come to the property which was about 20 mins later. Luckily someone was leaving at the time I arrived and let me in.
Rooms looked a bit unloved, paint peeling off the walls and the odd random blood stain for good measure. The blind didn't work properly either so I had to yank it down to about 2/3 of the way (soz, probably broke it)
A few older men yelling in the streets during the night wasn't ideal.
Odd place.
