Great location, just a 5 min ferry ride and a 5 min walk from centraal station. Quiet area but easy to get back to the centre.

The staff was for the most part nice.
Otherwise the room was very small. The toilet did not have a working soap dispenser. I had to use the shower to wash hands. The room was also very small. Which made it difficult when getting ready in the morning and having room for luggage.
The best part was the location, which was near the Central station through one stop with the ferry.
There is a lift in the hostel, but still some stairs in the main entrance, in which you have to carry your bag.

Super clean, friendly, but the add-ons very expensive

So obviously, we are a family staying in a hostel, not everyone does this but why pay $300 for a room when you can pay 150! This place is pretty high-tech very clean only complaint why doesn’t get five stars is the food is super expensive $13 for a bloody Apperol spritz. I didn’t even see that downtown and the $12 for two towels stung a little so perhaps I’m just ranting here, but everyone seems friendly. Everything seems to be set up well, the Internet was kind of crappy to be expected when every single young person glued to their phone. So, bring a towel, we don’t have a room in our case buy food at the local supermarket - five stars.

You simply get what you pay for. I stayed in a dorm room and that was my first time in a hostel so I didn’t really know what to expect. Took me back to uni days, except where you don’t know anyone and they all come in at different times. I knew that going in though, but I just think it isn’t for me. With that being said it really just boils down to the people staying there. Some people don’t have bathroom etiquette, while others do. There was a chain smoker in the bathroom that was closest to me and left buds all over the floor. It looked like a crime scene. But again that really isn’t the staffs fault, it just comes with the type of place it is. The times I talked to the staff they were extremely kind and helpful!! Overall, location is amazing, and if you’re looking to meet new people this is probably the easiest place to do that. My only gripe is really the cleanliness of the toilet rooms sometimes and some of the shower rooms don’t have ventilation, so it smells like such.

The front desk lady straight up lied to us and told us our stay was cancelled when it was not. There was many communication issues and the banana cake tastes really bad. The showers are also bad they flood the entire bathroom floor and doesn’t have hair dryers but the room was freezing. Also the laundry machines were broken and many trash was left behind in the bed when we checked in
