good stay, I had the hotel across from the main hotel/bar. Good value for Amsterdam. just two things, lots of tiny stairs, be in good shape and not old. also no AC but nights in Amsterdam are cool. they give you a fan for daytime. private bathroom and shower.

No emergency excit on the floor of our room, just down the one narrow, steep stairs. The fire detector in our room was covered with a shower cap. Luckily we noticed before falling asleep. Didn’t feel safe.

We did not have a good experience here. The room was WAY too small and nothing like the pictures. We were there for 2 nights and asked if on the second night we could book 2 rooms for the same price (our reservation made with hotels.com a month in advance was $400/night, but at that time it was only $150/night) and were told no. It was a very very disappointing experience to not get a view, be in a cramped room, and listen to people vomiting in the alley our room overlooked both nights.

Wonderful surprise!
Booked last minute and couldn’t have been more pleased! Our accommodations were clean and comfortable, but the best part was our view! Right on the canal facing the central street of Amsterdam. Wonderful staff, cozy stay - definitely recommend!

Smoking on site will incur an additional charge of EUR 200, and guests need to leave the property.
