A nice one but just a little "out of the way"

In a small room of "my own" (quite limited space but with a good-sized bed & also a sink), it was an ok 2-night stay where it was also pretty nice to have a washroom "right outside" my room ("almost like" an ensuite right across the narrow hallway from my door although for taking a shower is another room down below on the 1st level).
And yes, located right across the street from Oosterpark (its "south side"), this is a good place to stay for "nearby relaxation" (with actually some sizeable water like a lake where there are also some ducks in the park) and where there are also a "fair number" of places to eat in the vicinity mainly across the street from the "east side" of the park and also actually further to the south from that side (with my suggestion for 2 small restaurants, one for like Arabic food & one for Chinese, to the right after coming out of this place then another right at the end of the block).
And so, about the only thing on the downside about this place (being a pretty good place overall) is its distance from the "city center" (about a 45-minute walk between this hostel & the area around the Dam Square for the attraction sites such as the Rembrandt House & the Anne Frank House and also for "canal tours"), but yes apart from walking to the city center are also options of taking the tram (from all four sides of the Oosterpark) & also taking the train (from the Muiderpoort Station at just about a 5-minute walk east which is a straight walk "to the right" after coming out of this place).

Very good local hotel

Very good location, comfortable bed, sheets and towels clean and changed every day, soft pillow, made with a soft and breathable material very good for those who dream sweet dreams!!
