Very central location to the city centre. Staff very helpful. The only downfall is night noise due to a local bar/ band playing. The room is small but has a bar fridge and coffee maker. Very clean and comfortable.

Honestly one of the worst hotels i've ever stayed at. Firstly it backs onto a nightclub which operates from 11pm to 4am every night so forget about sleeping, and im half deaf so if I can hear it you know its bad. Also the hotel is dirty, there was a left over sock under my bed, toilet seat wasnt cleaned and hairs around the place. Also the hotel tried to wrongly charge my card before arrival, luckilly it was my revolut and was empty! The agreement was pay on arrival. Also when i arrived the guy tried to say I gave him 50euros less and asked me if i knew how much it was and got cranky then when i asked him if he knew how to count. All round a shady hotel and absolutely no regard for its customers whatsoever. Had lads shouting half the night in the room next to me and would have clearly been heard in the reception which was right below us and not once were they told to be quite. Avoid at all cost.

Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable hotel. However: note that there is an adjacent nightclub and you'll hear the thumping of the bass between 11pm & 3am

We enjoyed our stay. Good location and canal view. Room was very small. Overall we had a good stay.

My check-in experience was fantastic, a room was made ready for us well before check-in time due to a special request. The day time manager was helpful, friendly and informative about the area which is perfect for city exploring!
Also the cleaning staff are amazing, our room was immaculate and when we required anything they were quick to assist.
A couple of things to be aware of, there is no 24 hour reception, a nightshift staff member is onsite but you will need to find him and wake him for assistance.
Also, there is nowhere closeby to purchase coffee before 8:30am so the free coffee machine facilities in the foyer are an amazing offer but take note, it is available 8am to 11pm, if you want coffee before your early flight or tour you are out of luck. And if you can find staff at 7:30am don’t bother asking them if the machine can be switched on 30 minutes early, I was rudely told it is against the rules.
Some people have complained about noise from the nearby nightclub, we had a canal facing room and noise was minimal. If you choose to open your windows for some fresh air you will get some street noise but otherwise no complaints.
The hotel is expensive for what you get but that is Amsterdam, everything is expensive. The rooms are small but again, Amsterdam has old unique boutique hotels which are renovated and not built for space.
BUT if you are looking for a clean hotel in a great location this is your place.
