Stay in Amsterdam

Very pleasant stay at St Nicolas. Warm welcome and attentive staff. Hotel conveniently located 5 minutes from the train station and a rooftop with a view of Amsterdam. The hotel offers cold drinks throughout the day. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and the beds are comfortable.

Comfy bed, close to train station

I only stayed for 1 night and needed something close to the train station so I could wake up early and leave. I enjoyed my short stay however, they sent an email saying I could check in at 2pm but when I got there at 1:45pm they told me the room would be ready in an hour. It was a hot day so I wanted to freshen up before heading out so I waited in the hotel until my room was ready at 3:15pm. They had snacks and drinks available for guests so that was nice. The room was small but it was fine with me because that’s all I needed for a night. The bed was by far my favorite! It was sooo comfortable and the pillows were perfect. I slept really well. I checked out at 6am but no one was at the desk so I just left the key there because I didn’t know where else to put it. The check in/check out process is done online so that was convenient but they did ask that you leave room keys at the front before leaving. Overall, good stay if you need something close to the train station. I just don’t think it’s worth the price for a longer stay. $300 USD/night is a lot for this place.

Central Classic Gem.

Ideally located close to Central Station.
Warm reception on arrival and given an upgrade as it was my birthday.Not a large hotel size wise but that made it all the more enjoyable as the staff got to know the guests so much easier.
The staff were very friendly and couldnt have been more helpful.
Adrianna,Tetiana and Anny (apologies if mispelt),and the rest of the staff were amazing.
The rooms were fantastic,spotlessly clean and so comfortable.
Will definitely return.

Good basic hotel

Well located hotel, room was smaller than we had seen in the pictures, maintenance could be a bit better, breakfast moderate due to there was no sufficient stock and the bakeoff pistolets were also not always top

Perfect location small hotel with a lift rooms are adequate and the bathroom has a walk-in shower. They have a cafe area at reception which has free coffee snacks and wine. Why go anywhere else?
