Rooms are very small. More like a cruise ship cabin. The place is clean and parking is limited on site

Friendly straff and clean facilities! Quiet neighbourhood yet close to city centre! Would recommend!

Clean room, had everything we needed for a weekend away. Staff were friendly and little self check out shop was great for when we arrived late at night and needed some food.

An Amsterdam Oasis but requires walking and avoiding the restaurant
A difficult review to write because the staff were so accommodating and friendly but its precisely because of them that I am doing this. During a busy Summer and World Cup season, two staff were looking after the Restaurant and Bar every evening; taking food orders, delivering the drinks and delivering the food to multiple tables. I didnt count the kitchen staff but our two separate food orders were delivered over an hour after ordering and I overheard one lady complain that her food never arrived at all. During a quiet moment i spoke to one of the bar staff and they bemoaned the fact that they are severely understaffed in such a manic time of year. Is this poor planning or cost-cutting by management? Either way, it will lead to a reduction of purchases and even returning customers which is a real shame because the hotel and especially its surroundings (spacious outside area, loads of seats next to a canal) are really extraordinary. Not a hotel though for people who dont like to walk as its 15 mins walk to the ferry that takes you across to Central Station and there's not a lot around the hotel itself.
Rooms were just about ok size-wise and bed was good but the aircon kept auto-switching off which led to some very hot nights.
Overall I would recommend it to people who have no intention of using the Restaurant but definitely not recommend it to those that would - not least till they sort out their staff shortage(s).

We had a great stay. The room was clean and air-conditioned (much appreciated during a heat wave). The lobby had a relaxed, modern vibe with plenty of space to sit, grab a drink, and plan our day. The gym was open 24/7 and had enough and really modern equipments.
The staff were also a big part of what made the stay so enjoyable. They were attentive and consistently went the extra mile. Whenever we needed extra amenities, keycards, directions, or general info, they had us covered. Special thanks to Oussama, Soraia, Pedro, and Thiago for making our stay an awesome one.
The location worked perfectly for us. We rented bikes from the hotel and were around 5 to 10 minutes from anywhere we were heading. Biking to the ferry took around 3 minutes, and we were pleasantly surprised it ran late and night too and came every few minutes.
The food and cafés were better on the north side too, especially the ones serving brunch.
The staff were also a big part of what made the stay so enjoyable. They were attentive and consistently went the extra mile.
