We arrived in the morning from Amsterdam around noon. We immediately felt at home. In the skins corner overlooking the lake we were offered a coffee. Afterwards we brought our luggage to the room and drove to the 2nd largest zoo in Holland on the recommendation of our extremely courteous landlords. In about 3 km. distance. After about 3.5 hours we came back and made ourselves comfortable in the very cozy and Christmas decorated "living room". The dinner we enjoyed very much was served by our master chef Barry personally. After all, he learned his trade with Strenechefs in Switzerland ( Zurich ) and in Germany ( Bad Neuenahr ). After watching the Darts World Cup on TV in the evening I went to our small but still very well-kept room around midnight. My wife and I slept very well in the beds and in the morning we were surprised with a great breakfast. Apart from fresh eggs, cheese, ham jam etc. even the rolls were freshly baked and warm. We have taken Cindy and Barry into our hearts and in case we should get back close to the heroes, our accommodation is already fixed.

Well-serviced pension at the end of North-Holland
The pension itself offers spacious living and dinner room with lots of drink choices. The extra space is all nice as the rooms themselves offer simple chairs and some space. But they offer a decent bed and a hot shower. The area is very silent and though the walls are not all too noise cancelling, you still have quite a good sleep.
Reception by the owner is perfect and friendly as is the breakfast. It is quite Dutch but there is enough of everything.
There is a 'for sale sign' outside so be quick to enjoy the hospitality of the host
