Nice hostel in a very safe area. Bike storage on site via a bike shed which is locked at night.
Probably a 30 minute walk downhill to the centre.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Although it is located in Arnhem, it still gives a feeling of being in the middle of the woods. The room is clean, pratical as to be expected from a youth hostel. Beds are better than in other youth hostels and the social area felt very welcoming and homely. Staff was friendly and professional. So far the best youth hostel we have stayed in within the netherlands.

For us it was a good fit, everything great, only in the rooms very hot and stuffy!

Were there with our 7-year-old daughter.
The Hostel is very nice and by bike also great between center and Burgers ́zoo and Hoge Veluwe NP. The ambience was great, staff friendly, you can park for free. Breakfast was not intoxicating but perfectly adequate. You can sit out with a drink from the bar. There is a locked-off bike garage, which is almost a bit too tight.
The rooms are simple. We had over 30 degrees outside temperature. What was really a problem here was that you could only tilt the upper mini window (!). So it then cooled in the after from over 30 to 28 degrees or so in the room. You couldn't let anything go through because there were no windows to open in the corridor. You just have to be aware of that in the summer!

Hostel on a Hill

We stayed in room 315 on April 30-May 2. This hostel felt like summer camp due to the ambience, amenities, and location. It's in a residential area, but feels more secluded because it's on a hill surrounded by trees. The shower is on a timer that requires pushing a button every minute to keep the water flowing, but it never got hot. The open design also left water all over the floor.
Pros - bamboo toilet paper, inexpensive
Cons - no accessible outlets, location, shower

Passable but it’s not a hostel just a very very basic hotel. Make and strip your on bed, no towels provided and no drying room or usable kitchen facilities. It offers nothing more than the very cheapest European hotels
