Great 10 day stay

We stayed here for 10 days during the Masters Hockey World Cup.
The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for us ( Scotland M65s) and 3 other national sides.
They room was superb and we loved our wee balcony to dry our kitchen each day.
We ate here as a team one night and the food was superb.
The bar and outside seating area was great.
The aircon was a godsend when it was 36c outside.
A highly recommended hotel and central to the main tourist sites and restaurants.

A staff and hotel who went above and beyond.

As the Scottish Masters teams we were accommodated in the Hotel Keyser for our World Cup for hockey in August. We shared the accommodation for the tournament with some of the Welsh and English teams as well as other guests. I have to say from the very start we were looked after incredibly well and the staff could not have been more helpful throughout. Always in these situations you feel a bit guilty in not having made sure you got everyone's name but all of them contributed massively to our experience. Marian, who was an administrator, was helping out at breakfast. Floyd, who i think is Operations Manager seemed to be there day and night and with a smile on his face. To Dan, Tessa, Charlotte, Phoebe, Toen and the other staff members who made us feel so 'at home' and went above and beyond to make sure we could perform to our highest level, THANK YOU! You were all amazing. A final thank you to Chef. Every morning we were greeted with an engaging smile as he brought out more food from a hot kitchen.
Can't thank you all enough.

A lovely relaxing stay close to amenities

I had a fantastic stay here, I cannot fault the hotel nor location. The hotel is spacious, clean and has everything you could want for a long stay! Close to the centre and within walking distance of the canals and sights. I believe you can even hire bicycles from the hotel to get yourself further afield.
The hotel staff were all very welcoming and did everything they could to make the stay perfect.
Breakfast was extensive and some elements changed daily, which is a godsend when staying for a long period of time. Plenty of coffee, tea, cereal, hot food options and always plentiful (even when the breakfast room was bursting!)
There's a lovely sunny terrace and plenty of space in the foyer to enjoy a drink or 2. We only ate in the restaurant once for a large team meal and it was delicious.
Overall a fantastic hotel, and would happily come and visit again.

Great location, cleanliness needs to improve

The actual hotel is in a great location, close to the shops. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a choice of hot and cold food.
The main negative is the room hardly got cleaned. We stayed 10 days and the carpet wasn't hoovered. I watched them when I was in the room once and all they did was put new towels, empty bins and rinse mugs. Toilet, sink, shower tray etc, floors were not cleaned. We had to ask for towels as the room wasn't cleaned. The hotel was not cheap to warrant such bad service.

Superb location, 2minute walk to main square with all the bars, restaurants and noise.
Hotel room was large with air conditioning beds comfortable, nice and quiet so sleep not disturbed.
