Sophistication and Luxury is waiting for you.

Finally, an amazing BnB! Our room was very large, clean, quiet and comfortable. Despite the chilly January weather, inside was super cozy and warm. There was a large pit couch to relax on with blankets and cushions to cuddle in to. The bed was crazy comfortable and the bathroom, updated to perfection. All of the colors are fresh and inviting making an overall homey feel.
The coolest part was breakfast and lunch. You could tip toe down the stairs in your pajamas and have breakfast. I love that! The fire was cranking and the rolls and coffee were hot. Perfect, right? The food was good, the table immaculately set adding to the charm and interest of Rijsterbosch. It certainly was a wonderfully unique experience. I'm already planning a girls weekend out there.
Once you're at Rijsterbosch, you can park the car and leave it. Take a short, robust walk to the nearby sea. Is that not amazing? Peruse through the woods in the backyard and awe in wonder at the huge trees and powerful winds at the beach. There are a few cute and cozy places in the area to visit and grab a quick bite or cold beer.
Frisland kind'a freaked me out. Hehehe...There is water everywhere making nearly every spot, a place worth stopping, taking a long look and a deep breath. The houses are totally different and mega, mega cute. It is the cleanest, tidiest place I have ever been to and I travel a lot. The roads were perfect?! It is very flat. Nature is everywhere and it's full of beautiful wildlife including an amazing array of birds.
The best part about our trip to Frisland were the people. I come from a southern, warm climate where I thought THE nicest people lived. Turned out I was wrong. The friendliest people live in Frisland and two of them are hosting at Rijsterbosch.

Very cozy B&B, super location for walking and cycling right on the forest.
Beautiful interior , very good breakfast and food , Els and Jorre ensure a top stay !

Flemish hospitality mixed with Frisian roots. Best of both worlds!

Fantastic house coupled with very welcoming service. There was special cooking for us and our guests. Special thanks to Pascal who came to help in the ministry in the absence of the lady of the house and did a lot of fun! Many thanks and good luck!
