Comfortable, Contemporary, Clean and Centrally located

The hotel is in a perfectly central location, adjacent to public transport links. It is very contemporary designed and spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and the view from my room was great.

Bustling Rotturdam

This hotel is located in the centre of Rotterdam. The Market Hall, Blaak station, the cube houses, Oude Haven and Saturday market are a stone's throw away. Check-in was contactless and my room had a view of the first apartment building in the Netherlands, the White House. Despite the dynamic environment, the simply furnished room was blissfully quiet. Recommended: the Kunsthal (near the Erasmus Bridge), the department store De Bijenkorf, the area around the Pannekoekstraat (charming coffee / eateries), the Veerhaven (boats, Euromast) and so much more! If they brush somewhere and don't ... it's in 010, this city is always on the move.

Never had a bad nights sleep in a Citizen M hotel bed! Feel well taken care of and safe! Staff on this trip went above and beyond so for that an extra thank you!
Cleaning staff are in need of a refresher on standards!

Modern, well-kept, and informal.

Strengths: the location, just a minute's walk from the famous "Cube Houses" and the Markthal, the beautiful covered market where you can have lunch, dinner, or a snack at super reasonable prices. The Blaak train station and the subway are practically under the hotel. Like all CitizenM hotels, the design is ultra-modern and well thought out. The breakfast was excellent.
Unfortunately, during the self-check-in process, I chose a room with a bad view: there were 2 options to choose from, "harbor view" or "internal view," and I naively chose the second thinking it would have a panoramic view of the city. Instead, it overlooked a sort of square/courtyard. A big disappointment. Perhaps it would be better to specify that the "internal view" has practically no view, so it is suitable for those seeking more tranquility, but not for those who aspire to see a beautiful panorama from the room. Moreover, like in all CitizenM hotels, the room is really small (it feels a bit like a ship cabin), so I recommend the hotel only for short stays.
