Hotel 2000 nudi moderan smještaj na rubu tipičnog limburškog sela Valkenburg. Njegov restoran s barom smješten je u karakterističnoj plesnoj dvorani za doručak i večeru. Svaka soba ima kabelsku televiziju i prostranu kupaonicu.

Comfortable and enjoyable stay
We came on a school trip. Rooms were spotless, service excellent, reading the previous reviews I was dreading coming here. Adults were placed in single rooms. Children had two or three in a room arrangement. Soap, shower gel/shampoo were provided. Fan and a very good hair drier in the room, towels replaced daily. No kettle. Plenty of storage space in the single room. TV. Breakfast table included fruit, boiled and scrambled eggs, four types of bread, spreads, croissants and pastry, two types of yoghurt, meats and cheese. Our children were not impressed with the grown up food served the first night, so the hotel staff could not be more accommodating.
Apologies we were a bit noisy and messy, you really made our stay comfortable and most enjoyable. Thank you for that.

Worst hotel ever
Think this hotel is by far the first of the worst I've ever been to. Rooms hugely outdated, dirty, and staff totally uninterested. There is only one destination for this and that is with the bulldozer over it. Don't go!!!

Basic room situated within the modern extension of an older hotel within easy walking distance of the town centre.
Reception/checking-in relatively quick although was unable to pay with UK credit cards (Visa & Amex) so resorted to cash – cash machine available a short walk from hotel at local bank.
Common areas looked & felt rundown. I didn’t use the bar or restaurant – bought breakfast from nearby Aldi.
Large room, adequately furnished, but limited features – no A/C, safe or closable cupboard & was very hot. Bed comfortable.
Bathroom small & dated, shower good. No toiletries provided.
Room was cleaned daily & new towels provided, which was a good surprise.
External car parking was available via separate daily charge. Large car park although poorly lit at night.
Potential guests ought to be aware that the hotel is apparently being used to house refugees/immigrants of varying ages.
As budget accommodation that I booked for a short stay & to use as a place to sleep, wash & park it was fine. If your expectations are higher there’s much better accommodation elsewhere in the town.

Simple and not too expensive hotel
Came here for the third time, in itself a good hotel if you are not too demanding, rooms in front are outdated, rooms in the back are better.
We were a bit surprised on arrival to see that the hotel is also used as a shelter for returning asylum seekers but if you are not disturbed by children playing during the day that is no problem.
Rooms are good, we were in the new area, bathroom is ok but if you are fat it becomes difficult to sit on the toilet.

No more hotel 2000 Valkenburg!
A hotel to quickly forget. We, an elderly Dutch and German couple stayed 6 nights at this hotel. We have booked 2 luxury rooms through Booking.com. Arriving at our hotel we were soon confronted by a very large group of asylum seekers, we had not been informed about it. Nothing against these people, but against the measures that the hotel had or had not taken. The dining room, where breakfast is displayed on long tables for self-service, was soon very busy with guests feeling the sandwiches and fillings with their hands whether everything was real and fresh. The kitchen was also not safe for the mostly youthful visitors, here too the hygiene was far from being found. The next day times were prescribed for us, breakfast from 8 to 10. In practice it was until half past nine for us. Another day later, a kind of fences were erected, causing the European guests to sit in a row in the made corridor. Even worse it was with dinner, there was only 1 young man to pick up and serve. The result was that the four of us got our ordered food fifteen minutes apart. The last two at our table got their now cold food an hour after the first. For the next few days we went to eat outside the hotel! Then the "luxury" room, with us lacked a safe, with our German friends the closets, a seat and the aforementioned safe. The beds were experienced by us as very soft. The bathroom is of reasonable size for 1 person. The staff can be very unfriendly. The service moderate to poor. In short, a hotel that does not deserve the name hotel. For us NEVER AGAIN HOTEL 2000 IN VALKENBURG LIMBURG!
