Comfortable, friendly, clean and great breakfast

I chose this hotel purely on the basis of where I needed to be the next morning. It is situated in quite a quiet area of town away from the main centre, with plenty of parking. It turned out this hotel was bit of a find, particularly for the price.
Reception staff were really friendly and helpful on arrival and the room was a decent size, immaculate presented topped off by a comfy beds.
Nice breakfast with really good coffee.
Not a lot of dining options in the area, an Italian which I did not try and a curry place that I did. Regretted not going to the Italian.
I’d happily stay again.

Angry.

The hotel should be approached with caution.
Since I logged into the Wi-Fi there, I was hacked using the man-in-the-middle method. Since then, I have had some problems, and my data has been misused: account, email, phishing. Since I am knowledgeable in this area, I was able to stop the attack. The receptionist (of Indian descent) had already seemed suspicious to me because he immediately pointed to the Wi-Fi password – even though I hadn't even properly checked in yet.

I can't make a recommendation here at the moment!!!

After our arrival we unfortunately found a very poor condition of our rooms No.11 and 12, problems such as
Mold
Dirty walls
Blood spots
Missing smoke detectors
Hair and multiple spiders
were to be found in 2 rooms then we immediately looked for another accommodation but had to wait until the next morning to communicate our findings to the staff, as the reception was no longer occupied at 9.20 pm.
When asked about money refund for the remaining days, we could not be given precise information. We're still hoping for clarification.
Ps. In retrospect we learned that apparently not all rooms would be affected yet I can not make a recommendation here.

Do not stay here, or check your rooms before paying for them!

On arrival we was asked to pay up front, which we did. We then went to our rooms (2 in total) they were filthy. There were bugs on the bed and crawling along the window ledge. The bathroom had no soap, the dispenser was there but it was empty. The towels looked older than my car rags.
We could not stay here, so we went and asked for a refund. The hotel Receptionist needed to call his manager, who refused to talk to us. Once off the phone, the receptionist promised us that we would get a full refund through bookings.com. We contacted Bookings.com who called the hotel, the hotel refused to refund us. Stay away from this hotel, it is filthy! I see there have been no recent reviews for this hotel which makes me think it's been taken over by these people recently and they have kept the same photos. It does not look like the photos!

recommendable hotel

The hotel impressed us as a small family. The family room had three single beds and was spacious. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast wasn't overwhelming, but it was completely sufficient and available from 7:00.
Small criticisms: The duvets weren't particularly warm, it was just OK without heating the room at night. There was nowhere to sit in the bathroom - the toilet lid is made of thin plastic and gives way.
The immediate area is very quiet, touristy but not interesting. There are several restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
