Beautiful hotel

I spent one night there in June 2026. Friendly reception, good rooms with a good mattress, beautiful courtyard to sit in the evenings or for breakfast, breakfast was okay. The hotel is suitable.

It was a good experience, close to the train station, free parking outside (if available). At breakfast, the staff were a little annoyed when we asked for an omelet. The air conditioning never worked; we asked for fans, but they weren't brought to our rooms.

A big room with a single chair, no ottoman, and a bed does not constitute a “suite” and should not be described as such. It obviously had at one time been furnished with real furniture.
Maybe “a very large, largely empty space to sleep in.”

Clear improvement after the now completed renovation

After the renovation, really nice rooms. Fresh, modern and generous for this category with fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine; also staff are brisk and friendly. Clear step forward.
About 300 m away there is a rewe and a dm. Otherwise pure office area; park for free along the road. Prices are fine outside the fair times.
