Good breakfast, great location, fair price

Small, simple hotel in a perfect yet quiet downtown location. Our room was rather small and without fridge, safe or air conditioning, but with a very pleasant balcony. Free parking is a big plus. Breakfast was really good – in addition to the standards, there were also delicious dishes from the oriental cuisine. The coffee is typically German, from a European point of view it might take some getting used to. Price very cheap. The staff is friendly in the typical German way – reserved but helpful.

No more

Musty reception after ringing several times. Unfortunately, we made a last-minute booking for ten people, with confirmation that everything would be OK. That wasn't the case. We had to take the bus to Regensburg, where it was much more expensive to stay overnight. No apology.

Reservations only in writing!

Five double rooms were booked by phone. Unfortunately I was unable to confirm the booking in writing, as I had been assured that the booking was OK. Nothing was reserved. After a musty reception, ten hikers had to move to Regensburg late in the evening, at considerable additional cost.

Friendly , helpful and easy I found this stay
Room was large with en suite bathroom only downside was no air conditioning so I opened the window. Comfortable large bed and the proprietor was a really nice guy

Good meal - good service

My wife and I with our dog had an evening meal here. Donau fischfilet, wiener-art schnitzel finished with apfelstrudel. Meal was excellent, the strudel in particular was delicious. The beers were super. Above all, a great atmosphere and the waiter was likeable and helpful and enthusiastic about the food.
