Inhospitable house.

Unpleasant house. The landlord is greedy. Over 100€ for a poorly renovated room in a run-down house is completely overpriced. The landlord was not very friendly. There was no Pfalzcard. The greeting was hardly returned. You didn't feel welcome as a guest.

Owner over charges

The rooms were outdated, but they were fine. They were very hot when we got there, and we couldn't get them cols anymore so sleeping was horrible. They prepared out breakfast but they were good.
The worst thing of this stay however, is the fact that we took a bottle of wine from the bar. It was the house wine, made by themselves. When we left, he charged us 16 euro for the wine. This was not on the paper, and after seeing on his website, he sells the bottles for 6 euro in the shop. So he asked us 10 euro more, and even didn't put it on our hotel room but we had to pay the bottle seperatly.
So however the fact that the room was sufficient to stay, the guy will charge you whatever based on how much you think you can pay instead of the real price

Inhospitability at Bettelhaus-Bad Durkheim-Ungstein

First of all, we arrived late before 10 in the evening so there was noone at the reception.We called the owner on the phone and he said he had left a key at the back door in a key box.We started searching for the key.There were more doors in the back.All were closed.We searched for something that looked like a box, no luck. We were ready to give up when I saw the dog tray, a key was in it. The last thing you want to do at that hour and with a 10 months old baby in your arms is to go treasure hunting.
Second, the price of the room included breakfast and a "non existing" bottle of mineral water.On the first morning the breakfast consisted of bread and jam.No drinks next to it.No one was in sight and the kitchen was in a total mess.The second day the breakfast was the same but to my luck the owner was there so he brought some butter and milk when he saw me.The third and last day at the hotel, because some other unfortunate traveler had stopped there, we had a decent breakfast. A nicely ornated plate with cheese and ham.
Last but not least, the place was extremly noisy.In the morning the workers were repairing the road, in the evening the owner was socializing with neighbours in front of our window and in the night somebody was playing a trompet or the owner was busy arranging the garbage

Unzuverlässig, hält sich nicht an Vereinbarungen, viel zu teuer

Reservierung für eine größere Gruppe wurde nicht eingehalten und wir wurden erst kurz vorher, jedoch nur auf eigene Nachfrage informiert. Hatten keine Ausweichmöglichkeit mehr !
Sehr schlecht erreichbar.
Freche, teilnahmslose Antworten.
Wucherpreise für minimalen Standard.
Nie wieder !!!

Wucherpreise für ein Hotel ohne Standard

Wir wollten das Bettelhaus aufgrund einer Feierlichkeit buchen. Das Hotel ist sehr einfach ohne Standards.
Der Wirt erscheint mir größenwahnsinnig. Er hat uns für das DZ 99,00 Euro plus Tax 2,50 Euro angeboten. Für ein einfaches Frühstück will er 12,00 Euro.
Das Familienzimmer sollte 140 Euro plus Steuer kosten.
Das Einzelzimmer sollte 80 Euro plus Steuern kosfen.
Ich finde es abgezockt solche Preise für dieses Hotel zu verlangen. Zusätzlich hält sich der Wirt nicht an Absprachen und ist sehr unfreundlich.
Wenn also was festes geplant ist z.B. auch mit einer Gruppe würde ich mir ein Hotel in der Umgebung z.B.Bad Dürkheim suchen, dort findet ihr gute Hotels, wo auch das Preis / Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!
Wir haben ein sehr gutes Hotel gefunden also sucht euch eine faire Alternative und lasst euch nicht abzocken.
