Beautifully landscaped hotel in Bad Harzburg

The Hotel Am Eichenberg is nicely located, though not quite central in Bad Harzburg. Nevertheless, the town center with its attractions is easily reachable on foot.
We spent a weekend there and booked it as a package. The check-in went smoothly, and spa cards and entrance tickets for the thermal baths were already prepared. The staff, whether in the hotel or restaurant, was consistently very friendly and helpful and was happy to assist with any questions.
Our room was located in the annex, which is accessible via a covered walkway. It was cozy and nicely furnished, sufficiently spacious and clean. The bathroom was functional and modern, but the shower was not at ground level.
The breakfast offered a nice selection of hot and cold dishes, including Ayurvedic options, in line with the hotel's concept. We also booked the dinners as part of the package. Everything was very deliciously prepared and ample.
We can recommend the hotel without reservation.

We come back regularly for a break.

A wonderfully friendly and competent team, a relaxed atmosphere from check-in, delicious food where the eye also eats, rooms where you feel comfortable, whether small or large. And last but not least, there are
a beautiful wellness area to relax. In addition, the hotel is centrally located on beautiful hiking routes and for a trip to the city on foot.
Ayurveda means “knowledge of life” and is a
holistic approach that looks at body, mind and soul and strives for long-term health with nutrition, massages, herbs and a mindful lifestyle.
This is exactly the approach that can be found here at the hotel. Food, wellness, massages, the naturopaths in the house and much more......and that's what makes your stay here so relaxing.

Value for money and friendliness of staff rather unsatisfactory

Our room was very small, dark and the room air was not particularly good. It's really tight for two. Room service only after 2 days..could probably have daily if you change it in the tablet. But we didn't know before. Welcome and farewell was rather little devoted to the feel-good mode for a wellness hotel: we are still expecting a callback to clarify a misunderstanding about booking a massage and paying for it. Massages from the Indian doctor are highly recommended. If you have worked in the hotel business yourself, you know that yoghurt is then sold on Feb. Day on the breakfast buffet at least when reusing the food could be filled into fresh bowls, which was not the case. For my taste, the value for money is not right.

Top hotel hotel !

It was all great! The accommodation is very nice, the staff are very accommodating and friendly! Breakfast was a 10/10, something for everyone. The wellness area also leaves nothing to be desired. I can only recommend the hotel !
