Nice hotel with very good restaurant and great service

We stayed one night at the hotel. The room has everything you need, it was neat and clean.
In the evening we ate in the restaurant of the hotel. The food was delicious, the service very friendly, attentive and helpful.
The breakfast buffet the next morning was varied. There were additional scrambled eggs. Again, the service was very friendly and attentive.

nice hotel, great breakfast, but nothing to do

Hotel is located in Rotensol district, 4 km above Bad Herrenalb. Very nice and large room, beautiful balcony, view of the horses and the woods. Mostly older seniors.
No refrigerator. Great breakfast for 15 euros with very sympathetic and separately smiling waiter.
There is nothing to do in the hotel, no entertainment or sports facilities. In bad weather, that is not pleasant.
The restaurant food is excellent. And you can get affordable wine from the vinotheque! E.g. Portuguese!

We booked this hotel last minute and we were not dissapointed. It is located in a secluded village, so probably a car is a must to stay there but otherwise it is excellent. We enjoyed their restaurant so much that we ate there every night. The staff is so lovely and accommodating and try to feel you at home. The view from our balcony was excellent. I just cannot recommend this place enough. The hotel is very child-friendly: they have good options for toddlers in the restarant and they were very friendly and accommodating with our son. There is always plenty of parking spaces. We really hope to come back.
