Hands off, you will be angry!!

This hotel is dingy, worn out and the amenities old and not equivalent to a 4* house. Housekeeping only every few days, linen dirty, floor stained, windows dirty. Management not available! Complaints ebb at the reception!!

No Recommendation for the hotel

Was for an Ayurvedic cure at Hotel Fontana, an old uncomfortable hotel, have come to a room south it was very hot in the room it lay above a brightly lit terrace it could not be darkened man offered me a move to another room only on the 3rd night of 4. There was no reaction from the management, or remuneration ☹️ . The food was partly lukewarm and partly tasteless and not Ayurvedic ☹️
The Ayurveda treatments were excellent and the team very nice.5 stars for the Ayurveda department.

Worst experience ever !

I went fir my after cancer treatment program. The cost is like for a luxury stay in a 5* hotel. But don’t expect any of those. The only ups are the Indian staff who make the treatments and the doctors . The food was not Ayurvedic at all. The chef didn’t hide his detesting to work there.
And as a cherry on the pie - i was « robbed » there in a way
I just asked a member if stuff at the reception to lead me to the nearest dry cleaning . Instead she assured me that they will manage it themselves or if they won’t be able to to it they will send it to the city dry cleaning. And took my 850€ and 300 euros pullovers of high brands plus 400€ trouseres. To my surprise I found all my items shrinked and half wet just in an hour in my room. The just WACHED AND TUNBLE DRIED THEM(. After they ( direction and the guilty lady)made me promises to reimburse me at least my Hermes pullover which had the sentimental value for me through the personal insurance of the lady who started all that mess within 2-3 weeks .and they made me left with them the most valuable item as if the insurance company needs it . But you know what- for the first couple of months she at least answered something to my messages but now both the lady and the direction went silent . So it means that they used this situation just to keep my Hermes pullover for themselves (((
So be aware of total unprofessional use of the hotel stuff .

Das Hotel ist ideal für authentische indische Ayurveda Kur. Etwas altmodisch,lieblos,ohne Atmosphäre. Neuer Wellness Bereich super schön. Für einen Aufenthalt ohne Ayurveda würde ich das Hotel nicht empfehlen.
