Gladly again

Due to the very good reviews we have booked 3 nights. I can fully confirm the positive data of the previous reviewers. The landlord informed us very well when checking in, rooms super clean, breakfast very varied even with fruit salad made from fresh fruits. I particularly liked the motion detector under the edge of the bed. There is a free public transport card for the duration of your stay. So we took the train to the Christmas market in Freiburg. Train station can be reached on foot in 15 to 20 minutes. Parking right in front of the door, bicycle parking is also available.

Very nice holiday accommodation with very friendly and helpful landlords

Very nice and modern furnished room with modern bathroom. The luxury of air conditioning in the room we really enjoyed the high outside temperatures.
Every day we were spoiled with a rich breakfast and mostly we could have breakfast on the beautifully designed terrace. The Wagner family was very friendly and advised and supported us with a wide variety of concerns.
We can always recommend the Guest house Wagner.

Clear recommendation! Host with heart

We felt very comfortable and welcome in the Wagner guest house.
We were greeted with water, fruit and peanuts in the room, and there are always apples available at reception. The room's furnishings and equipment are modern and very well thought out, right down to the subtle light at the bottom of the bed, which allows you to get up and lie down again at night without any accidents. I was able to continue working from home without any problems during our stay, and the WiFi worked perfectly throughout.
The breakfast buffet is a hit: super tasty and varied, and you get as much tea/coffee as you want personally served, and if you're planning an excursion, you'll also get personal tips for discovering the beautiful surroundings. The jams are even homemade, and as we left we were given a jar of the most delicious elderflower jelly made from flowers from the hotel's own garden.
The personal touch is also evident in small, quirky details, such as the modern cuckoo clock in the breakfast room or the funny meerkat sculptures in front of the window.
Mr and Mrs Wagner are real treasures as hosts and also cater to individual needs: my mother only came back from the heart center after breakfast time had ended and I was able to put together a breakfast for her, which was brought to her room so that she could enjoy it later. So, despite the less than pleasant occasion, our stay was almost like a vacation, at least as relaxed and uncomplicated as possible.
I can highly recommend a stay at the Wagner guesthouse!

The guesthouse we dreamed of

What do you expect from the guesthouse in SPA resort? Nice house in a quiet spot? That is it. Sympathetic and attentive hosts? That are the kind of hosts there. A tasty and plentiful breakfast? You will have it. Quick and easy access to SPA facilities and other important spots? No problem.

An excellent hotel in a quiet part of the town

We visited Bad Krozingen for 2 main reasons - the local vineyards (particularly Zaehringer, a biodynamic vineyard and winery), and the fantastic spa in the town. Gaestehaus Wagner offered a perfect place to stay for us - just out of the centre of town, affordable, great breakfasts, clean and very comfortable, and extremely friendly service (with Ellen Wagner's good English too). A modern building, not overly stylised, easy and enjoyable. Plus a glass of sparkling wine for breakfast on our last day! We would quite happily stay here again.
