Super delicious eaten dinner. Host and staff very friendly and attentive.
Value for money is right.
We really cannot understand the negative comments here. Those who book an inn cannot expect a 5 star hotel. We would definitely book again.

Explicit warning about this dive and especially the landlord!
We spontaneously drove to the Sinsheim region yesterday and were looking for a room for one night with breakfast. At around 9 p.m. we found what we were looking for by phone at the Gasthaus Adler and were told that someone would be there until 9:30 p.m. The opening hours sign said something different, however.
At 9:25 p.m. I enter the guest house, fill out the registration form, find out that breakfast is only available between 8 and 9:30 a.m. (I was told directly that the guest room must be left immediately at 9:30 a.m.), pay and receive room key 8.
When my wife and I enter the room, we are not bothered by the old furniture, we are bothered by the musty, slightly moldy smell, the grease stains on the headboard of the pushed-together single beds and the dirty and dilapidated impression that the room leaves on us within seconds.
So I went back to the landlord and told him that I would not stay overnight here because of what I had just seen and that I would like my money back. He categorically refused and gave me room key 9. So I went to the next room and found it to be exactly the same run-down look, except for the double bed. I got key 10 and what can I say...
So I went back down and demanded my money back, the landlord refused and saw my objective but now forceful complaints as a threat and called the police.
The nice officer then wanted to speak to me on the phone and the landlord held out the phone receiver to me. When I tried to reach for it, he started screaming like a madman and shouted: "Help, I'm being attacked!" Nobody is being attacked here, I just grabbed the phone, I said. The policeman on the other end of the phone asked the landlord to speak to me too. I was then handed the receiver and told him what had happened. I also told him that I was confused, as there was no threat. The landlord shouted, "There are two of them!" That was also correct, of course, as my wife was there. The police officer said that it was civil law and therefore not responsible. I told him that I was aware of the situation, said goodbye and ended the call. Then I put the phone down and the landlord shouted again that I had touched and damaged his telephone system.
We then left without any money, as it was late and we were tired. Unfortunately, I now have to go through the hassle of claiming the money back.
We have never experienced anything like this before and can only advise everyone to please avoid this house and this landlord.

Breakfast: for 3 people one plate with salami (9pcs of salami) for all. Coffee as black dirtty wather. Not all rooms have WC, od shower box can you find in your room on carpit next to wordroube..

Den gleichen Zimmerpreis haben wir 5Tage vorher in Fulda in einem nagelneuen Hotel bezahlt. Das Frühstück war auch mangehaft. Wir waren froh, dass wir nur eine Nacht ertragen mussten.
