We were arriving late (the reception close at 19:00) and called to get instructions- the hotel did not answer the phone, and only after writing and calling again we got contact.
The written instructions received in the reception was only in German - I do not have an issue with that, but I did have to assist other guests not understanding German.
Even here in the summer there are to few parking places.
The staircase was in need of refurbishing…anyway - when arriving in the room, we cleared all the negative points - such a big apartment and great views. We really loved it!
All was good - and finally!! this hotel offers both small and large pillows - the selection does help getting a great sleep!
The kitchen is fully equipped- however no salt or pepper or oil… which would have been nice…
The breakfast in the hotel was on high level - and the Ukrainian service was kind.
The outdoor seating was good, unfortunately not dried up after the morning rain.
The place has a garden, unfortunately the grass is not being cut and the garden pool is under restoration.
No matter what - we really enjoyed the place and it gives good value for money.

The view was stunning! The staff very helpful. The ones working in the kitchen, need to be rewarded for their kindness and their hard work! I would highly recommend this hotel to stay in!

chickes Hotel in der Innenstadt

For us, the location in Bad Reichenhall was good. There are several restaurants within walking distance. The train station is also close. We could store our bikes in a garage. The room at Haus Rosa seemed relatively newly renovated. Good size, very clean, cleaning service on request.
The breakfast room in the main house is very chic. Unfortunately a bit small - at least on one of our 3 mornings in the house it was very busy.
Otherwise recommended!

The advert on Hotels.com is misleading and should be changed . There is no Alpenstadt Hotel. There are 3 different hotels, and you are allocated to one when you arrive. Only one has a manned reception, and parking is a lottery. We had to go to a different hotel (Sonnebichel) for breakfast, and there was no step free access.
Our particular hotel (Erika)was an old building with nicely appointed rooms though the door to the balcony was in need of attention. There was a lift, possibly the smallest I've ever seen, and would not be suitable for many wheelchair users.
Main issue is lack of staff on reception (the Erika had none) to handle queries, nor is any information provided in the room.
Disappointing and poor value for money.
