Although we had only ordered one room , we found a small apartment. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was excellent.

Pension Schöpke...... better not
On the way down we noticed that entire staircase smelled of urine.
A renovation would be really urgently needed.
If you like spiders, you are in the right place.
Not even the cheapest drinks in the fridge help!!
We were lucky enough to stay in the pension,'The beautiful reaper' was still a room available and we could move in there.
Thanks to the possibility of cancellation until 6 pm, we were able to get out of the number again.
We have also made our displeasure known to the landlady.
What she will make of it now is not known.
I definitely couldn't have eaten breakfast there.

Never again
On arrival, you come across a musty basement to a room that you should not take a closer look at.
Spider webs, including animals..were reported, with the request to remove them...after all 3 were caught.
You better not look under the bed, because what's gambling around there is creepy...
The front of the kitchenette was smeared, the cutlery drawer totally dirty. The surfaces of cabinets, wardrobe, kitchen, dusty.
The shower mat, textile, was not even changed in 5 days, as were the towels and mumbled very pleasantly on the last day.
The much-vaunted breakfast consisted of baked bread every day.
We bought disinfectant spray and worked with it, cleaned kitchen, table...
There was electricity, only the rooms were never vacuumed through, but it was swept and only superficially.
Just plain silly.
Unfortunately Staffelstein was quite booked at this time otherwise we would have been looking for other rooms.

Our room (5) was large and modern.
Breakfast was good and lovingly prepared!
We spent 3 beautiful days here!

Naja…
Die Pension selbst ist ein altes Haus, und unser Zimmer lag im Keller. Im Bad roch es nach Urinstein und die Dusche brauchte sehr lange um heißes Wasser zu spenden. Die Schubladengriffe haben teils geklebt und das Bett war sehr hart. Ansonsten war es aber halbwegs sauber.
Das Frühstück wurde uns auf booking als sehr gut angepriesen. Leider bestanden dies größtenteils aus Aufbackbrötchen (keine frischen), Wurst und Käse. Letzteres lag zusammen auf einer Platte. Für Vegetarier*innen sehr unschön. Was mir für ein sehr gutes Frühstück ebenso gefehlt hatte waren Gurken/Tomaten oder mal eine Hafermilch. Ebenso gab es ein recht klein gehaltenes Rührei. Der Kaffee war zudem sehr bitter.
Insgesamt leider nicht überzeugend!
