Accommodation in Bad Wiessee ...

We stayed at the Margarete guest house in October 2023. Parking spaces are available in front of the house. In our opinion, the room was furnished with rather cheap means. The bathroom is small and old-fashioned. The bathroom lighting, or in particular the lighting of the mirror, is in great need of improvement. But everything was very clean. The room was very noisy, in particular there was no impact sound insulation, and we could easily hear the conversations in the next room. So the night was ultimately quite short, by the time the last person in the house had gone to bed, the first person had already gotten up again. The breakfast was generally OK. The owners were very friendly.

Guesthouse does not correspond in any way to the description!

Guest house does not match the description. Rooms from the 70s, carpets just as old. All floors completely stained. No sauna, no fitness room. Bathroom smaller than in a caravan. Landlord not accommodating. Not recommended

Lovely place to stay

Very friendly check in
Large room (14) with balcony
Nicely furnished, comfortable and clean
Free WiFi worked well
Flat screen TV but we didn't use.
Coffee, tea available 24 hr and fridge with beer and wine for purchase.
10 min walk to the waterfront
Nice breakfast provided.
Possible to pay by credit card.

Best guesthouse I've ever visited

I came late to Germany from Austria and needed a place to stay. A nightwatchman at a fully booked hotel called Gaesthaus Margarete at 10 pm and they had one room. I was there at 11 pm and the owner waited up for me. He showed me to the nicest looking room I've ever seen in a guesthouse. It had a private bath and a sitting area, and the decor was beautiful. I felt like I was in a four star hotel, not a small guesthouse in the Alps.
The breakfast buffet was also very nice, taking place in a very cozy and relaxed room on the second floor. The food was good, and the service excellent (again the owner, he couldn't have slept much that night). All this for 70 euros.
Unfortunately my stay was only for a short time, but I'm already planning a vacation to take me back to Gaesthaus Margarete. Absolutely love the place!

Guest house that is Real...

We stayed four nights here with our hosts being unobtrusive but available when required.
Rooms were three star with comfortable bedding and all in a quiet Strasse.
Breakfast room was pleasant and well catered.
Bathroom was small but you can see why as they have been incorporated into what was once just a room.
We would stay again !
