Good hotel with friendly staff, but very hot room.

There's a lot to like about this hotel: spacious room (although slightly dated), clean bathroom, friendly check-in and a quite good but simple breakfast buffet. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning in the room, and this made the room unbearably hot at the end of July 2022 - including during night hours. It would have been nice if a fan had been installed / put in the room, so we could have dealt with the intense heat.
Bad Windsheim is a pleasantly quiet place with some nice attractions: the fantastic Frankenthermen and the open-air museum, for example, are all highly recommended.

Emergency Stop at Bad Windsheim Over Night

Due to unusual weather conditions I had to stop my travels home on 25 Apr 2016. I found this nice Restaurant/Hotel in the middle of the City Bad Windsheim. The rooms a very clean and neat. Furnishings are adequate for the room with all necessary amenities and TV. The Service Personnel are very polite/friendly and make it a point to ensure your stay is a pleasant one. The owner greets you personally and ensures your registration is completed in a timely manner. Then escorts you to your room. The Restaurant food offered is Italian Cuisine and very good. I recommend this Hotel to everyone traveling int the area needing a place to stay over night or making a Holiday in the Spar City of Bad Windsheim. Stop by and see for yourself.

Mr Townsend Bad Customer Service

When i first got there place looked closed someone had to come down and let me in then after 4 hour of driving i was in my room then after takeing my close off to relax someone was knocking on the door it was the manager it took me awhile to put on something just to open the door ,once he came in he was asking if i needed something for my tv but it look like he was just looking around . But did not pay this any attention and the next morning i give staff the greeting of the day and nothing said So i went off to my business meeting come back and had a beer and they came up to me again and said i'm not to used the towels to wipe off my shoes because they were dirty there are bath towels you know and this is something i would never do. they made me feel like i was being watch this is not good for a hotel So this will be my last time ever using this hotel i never had any type of problem with any other hotel before and i travel around the world. make people feel at home no mater what .

Pizza's

Pizza's afgehaald in deze coronatijd. Het was erg warm en binnen was het leeg.
Het was blijkbaar op het terras nogal druk maar met 20 minuten waren ze klaar. Prijs / kwaliteit was okay, geen hoogstandje.

Schöne Zimmer, nettes Personal

Aufgrund einer Messe in Nürnberg waren alle Hotels in der näheren Umgebung belegt. Alternativ bin ich durch eine Kollegin auf diesen Ort und dieses Hotel gestoßen. Und was soll ich sagen: Ich war positiv überrascht. Das Zimmer war groß, geräumig und sauber. Der Zimmerservice sehr aufmerksam. Das Frühstücksbuffet ähnelt einem Gasthof, hier könnte die Auswahl etwas größer sein....Aber dafür gab es jeden Tag frischen Obstsalat. Das Personal beim Frühstück war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich kann diese Unterkunft empfehlen und würde wieder kommen.
