Reasonable price

The apartments Seerose is located in 5 min walk from the bus station Verfassungsplatz. If you come from the railway station, take bus 201. Baden-Baden is an overpriced city in Baden-Württemberg. It is better to visit Baden in autumn, when there are not so many tourists around that come for mineral and thermal spas. Seerose apartment is close to the city center and has reasonable price. It is convenient for people, who travel with children. It has all facilitues for cooking and washing cloth. We were allowed to check in earlier and leave our luggage. Bear in mind that it might get cold in the winter and we have not noticed that the heating elements.

Host cancelled our confirmed and payed for booking

We booked our 1 night stay months in advance and got an immediate confirmation. Payment was only due a couple of weeks before arriving. A week or 2 before the payment was due I got a request from the host to already pay for our stay. Strange that this payment agreement was suddenly changed, but none the less I payed. Then the host mailed me there was no place for us (= host probably received a booking request for more than 1 night and just decided we should go). I contacted booking.com and they contacted the host => booking informed me that everything was ok. A couple of days before arriving the host contacted me again and asked me to cancel because he had no place for us. I cancelled because I was not willing to risk arriving with my young kids before a closed door. I asked for my money back off course. Host promised he would return my payment. I had to contact the host several times before I finally (after a couple of weeks) got my money back. The host was very impolite in his communication.

Simple and good

Good location, 5 minutes walking distance from center, and much cheaper than hotels. Room was very clean and organized, with kitchen equipment. Comfortable beds for adults and children. Nice owners. Kind to help and assist

Good Place to Stay

We arrived at this place at around 11:45 PM on the day of Check-in. The person in charge waited for us till we arrived showed us the room and left after that. He did not speak English. The room was very neat and clean. The room had kitchen facilities, we had some nice drinks and made some cooking. The room is very preferable and comfortable for a one night or two night stay. There are no disturbances around the room. Since our visit was during the autumn start, the outside view was beautiful.
