Large, rustic, beautifully located.
Visit from May 20, 2026. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of the food. Overall, a very nice venue with large rooms and plenty of wooden beams. It feels very cozy overall. The outdoor area is also very nice, and there is ample parking available. The reservation and the service at the table were professional and consistently friendly. We had reserved a table by the window; amusingly, it was an "interior window"; but in the end, it was even cozier. The roulade arrived very quickly...and upon request, we received extra sauce. Unfortunately, the roulade was too dry on the inside (possibly too lean meat, too little bacon, too long cooking time, too high heat?); and the sauce - although it was good - was a bit too salty (possibly too salty filling, too strong reduction, bouillon cubes?). What a pity: otherwise, I would have gladly given 5 stars. The bathroom was clean, nothing to complain about. We would be very happy to return, but would try a different dish next time. Price-wise, it is rather expensive, but that is just the area of Baden-Baden. In any case, the restaurant is definitely worth recommending.

Great hotel in the green
The parking space is very spacious. Reception warm and helpful. Location on the B500 on the Hoch Schwarzwaldstrasse. Beautifully situated in the green. Spacious rooms and ditto bathroom. Bathroom with walk-in shower. Plenty of towels. Refrigerator, TV and safe. Very good bed and various pillows. Bitches private terrace for the room. Everything very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate and substantial sorting. Dinner in the evening at the restaurant. Extensive map, smooth operation and value for money is good. The restaurant also has a very large terrace. Can be quite busy on weekends and holidays. Hotel is however a very small part of the complex, where there are also a great supermarket with its own bakery, butcher and greengrocer, equipped with many local products. There is a lift to the hotel rooms. In the hotel rooms you do not suffer from the restaurant, the supermarket or traffic. All in all, a lovely hotel (pricey!).

Modern log cabin.
Beautiful, large, and well-maintained rooms. It smells wonderful like wood. Good beds and a nice bathroom.
However, I would not choose a room facing the street/parking lot again. On Sunday morning, at 5:20 AM, the delivery for the in-house bakery began, albeit very quietly and considerately. Starting at 7:00 AM, customers began to arrive. I must admit that we had opened the window, which was probably a mistake!
The breakfast was plentiful and left nothing to be desired, although I would have appreciated a little more "attention."
If I had not been such a light sleeper, I would definitely recommend it!

A hidden gem
Highly recommend.
Lovely staff and a wonderful place to staff
The room was incredibly comfortable and breakfast was good.
We also ate in the restaurant which served great traditional food with great service.

Great place for a fun and warm dinner
Lovely location for family and friends gathering. We organized a work group outing and this is the perfect place to host a dinner and be in the best hands. The team is caring, well organized and made our event seamless. The food portions are quite generous and we did not miss anything! thank you for a real Shwarzwald Hospitality!
