A lovely hotel, room was dated and it was incredibly difficult to park, but the facilities are lovely and the room was comfortable and had what we needed. Space could do with a freshen up but served really well for a stay in the city as we passed through. The kids loved the pool.

Nice hotel, but do not try the massage!
The hotel is comfortable, rooms big, clean and nice, spa and swimming pool very entertaining. People at the reception professional and helpful.
Unfortunately I had the bad idea to book a massage. The receptionist does not speak english, she was communicating to me with google translate, which is unprofessional for an international hotel. I booked a full body massage 50 minutes 120 Euro much more expensive than average. So I expected something special.
They do not even provide cap for hair. The girl was not trained for the massage. She spent more than half an hour on my back, she paid no attention to the legs, she refused to handle feet ( she " massaged" using towel, maybe she feared I had some skin trasmissible disease), when I turned on my back the light was very strong on my eyes and she forgot to smooth it.
At the end she told me the time was finished but she forgot neck, shoulders...a real rip-off. Terrible image for the hotel.

A Lovely Stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Baden-Baden
I recently stayed at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Baden-Baden and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is clean and impressive, with a stylish retro look that gives it real character without feeling dated.
My room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, exactly what you want after a day of travel or sightseeing. The staff were friendly and forthcoming throughout my stay, always ready to help with a smile.
I'd also highly recommend adding breakfast to your stay, at 26€, it was excellent value. The spread was seriously impressive, with plenty of vegetarian options alongside a generous selection of cheeses and cold cuts. Whatever your preferences, there's genuinely something for everyone.
Overall, a great hotel with a strong attention to detail. I'd happily stay here again!

This is a nice well-run hotel, a little outside the center of Baden Baden but very quiet
Everything about this hotel was good, from the room's comfort and reasonable size to the underground parking and the food at the restaurant and for breakfast. I would recommend it as the prices were quite reasonable as well. The only slight negative is that it is really too far to walk to the center of town, especially in the rain.
