Well-Located, Comfortable Stay in Scenic Bavaria

The accommodation is located in a lovely little Bavarian village along the Main River, where the hillsides covered with vineyards give the village a truly special atmosphere. The property is centrally located in a tidy, peaceful area and offers private parking, which is both safe and convenient for guests arriving by car.
Upon our arrival, the owner was there to welcome us, making check-in quick and easy. It’s worth mentioning that the stairs leading up from the staircase are quite steep and narrow, which could be challenging for those with limited mobility.
Our room on the second floor was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was served by the owner himself — it was generous and delicious. The host was extremely kind, attentive, and friendly.
Just a 3-minute drive away from the accommodation is a unique attraction: an old watermill built in 1807, which is still in operation today. Powered by its water wheel, it was originally used for producing paper and cardboard, and it now operates as a museum. It’s a true little gem that’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
We were only passing through this time, but we can gladly recommend the accommodation for a longer stay as well — it’s comfortable, clean, well-located, and an ideal base for exploring the surroundings.

Nice hotel

I stayed one night in this accommodation in September 2025. Friendly Welcoming and good breakfast served at table. Room well equipped. An ideal hotel for one night, in a charming village surrounded by vineyards. The nearby restaurant is unfortunately closed until April 2026 so you have to drive a few km to find a place to eat.

Can only be recommended

On our bike tour on the Main was by far the best accommodation. Well decorated, very clean, friendly owners, great breakfast and it was the most affordable. Thank you, it was nice with you!
A bit exhausting was the approach because we are high from the place. It's very steep. By bike, the best way is simply via the main road.

Everything is great

Easily accessible from the motorway.
Uncomplicated check-in, key safe at the entrance.
Nice, clean rooms.
Mattresses very good.
Bathroom tip-top.
Parking spaces in front of the door, free of charge.
Great breakfast.

The cleanest hotel we've ever been to!

This an amazing hotel. Even though it has no starts, the rooms are very modern and beautiful, much better than in many 4 or 5 star hotels we've been to. The room was exceptionally clean and the bed is really comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as well and the owner (who has his own brewery) has given us a bottle of his own brewed beer as a gift for Christmas. It was a fantastic experience and we definitely recommend this property. Next time when we are in the neighborhood we will certainly stay in Gastehaus Brauscheuere!
