Super clean, comfortable accommodation in an idyllic location & outstanding hospitality

Perfect accommodation for a hike on the Rheinsteig! Guests must call the property to obtain the keys.
My room 131 was spotlessly clean & modern. The highlight was the comfortable lounge chair and the view of the sunset and Sayn Castle.
I slept very well and quietly!
The breakfast was very extensive & the hostess tried to fulfill even extra requests such as oat milk (pre-requested) or a coffee from the machine! I even got a bottle of water for my hike.This is true hospitality! Thank you so much!
I would book the room again at any time and highly recommend the accommodation!

Nothing going on without detective work

There is no reception on site, but unfortunately also no instructions on how to contact them. The phone number posted next to the entrance door is unfortunately disconnected. After some searching, I found the number of a restaurant on the drink menu in the entrance area. Bingo! They were responsible. The key was prepared, but hidden in an envelope. The room was probably a monk's cell in the past, and the monk must have been very small, because when entering the bathroom, a strict sequence and standing points must be followed, otherwise you cannot close the bathroom door. Furnishings with the strict charm of the 60s. The bed was large enough and comfortable. Unfortunately, the room cannot be aired out, and after being bombarded by strong sunlight, it was miserably warm all night. The next morning, searching for breakfast, same game as the day before, searched on the ground floor but found nothing, remembered the restaurant phone number, bingo! Breakfast takes place in the restaurant, only a 5-minute walk away; unfortunately, it is pouring rain this morning. It would be so easy to hang an information board in the entrance area with the necessary phone numbers and locations. Absolutely not usable for people with limited mobility.

Very nice experience! big, clean and confortable room. No receptionist and difficult to contact the accommodation to get the key. Quiet place in general but just Little noisy early morning because the scouts were meeting just beside our window! Breakfast is in a separate restaurant nearby and delicious !
