Gentlemam on axis

God save the King and the team of the Hotel “Land Gut Hotel Hermann”. With these words, the I.F.e.S., interest group Drivers of English Sports Cars, would like to express its sincere thanks to the entire team of the “Land Gut Hotel Hermann” for the three-day stay on the occasion of exit “16. British Open”. Starting with the preparations of the exit to the farewell on Sunday, we were accompanied by a very friendly and professionally competent team through the weekend. Well-kept drinks and a food offer where you could tell that the kitchen crew knows very well how to handle pans and pots. According to the saying “Food and drink holds body and throat together”, the evenings after our day tours were a special highlight. The well-run hotel area with swimming pool and sauna, the restaurant, which lives up to the name of the hotel and the small park with the great beer garden, really only gives us one thought, we will soon go there again.

Recommended as a stopover

It was my first stay on recommendation.
The hotel is very nicely embedded in nature and very quiet. Surprisingly good the wellness area including pool! The staff very friendly and the breakfast good. I expected more local products in the situation. Parking is great and free. The rooms are a bit old including the furniture. I was satisfied and fine for one night. The restaurant has very good cuisine for dinner.

Great quiet location and everything you need

We were already the third time there. First three, then five. We never lacked anything. The rooms were always clean. The beds comfortable. Especially as a family we feel welcome here. The adults like to use the beautiful pool area. Outside there is a nice little park with a big sandbox and plenty of play for the little guest.
Even the children are looking forward to breakfast, as there is something for everyone.
The staff was friendly and helpful at all times.
Our last room was freshly renovated and it was just fantastic.
Whether short and long stays, it remains the best decision for us to stay there.

a good hotel at a very attractive price

I have booked 2 nights. The room was clean and big enough on the 2nd floor (single night in double room). The swimming pool is of course a highlight. Breakfast is cheap (10€) but not exquisite either. The sausages seem to be from Aldi, the scrambled eggs are not from Eins but from a liquid in the Tetrapak.
It is true that the hotel is frequented by people working outside because of its price, but this is not a disadvantage.
On Friday night there was loud music, the hotel is something like the center of the small town of Bentwisch. On the 2nd floor, nothing was heard of it.
Dinner can be obtained at reasonable prices in the adjoining restaurant. The staff is endeavouring, the prices of each meal are reasonable.
The city center of Rostock is 15 minutes by car. Be careful, flashlights are installed on the access road.
