Clean and crisp hotel for an ideal city trip

Staying in Marriott's Courtyard Berlin City Center last summer was great. The hotel is located in Mitte, so in a very central part of town, close to Spittelmarkt, just a few U-Bahn stops from Alexanderplatz; in other words it is very easy to reach using public transport and ideal for a trip to Berlin.
The hotel building is very modern and looks great. The same goes for the rooms: very tidy, nicely furnished and quite spacious, with a modern TV, USB charging ports etcetera. Great bathroom facilities in the rooms as well, the mirrors with sink and shower area were all quite large/spacious, like the rest of the room.
After about 1-2 days the refrigerator in our room malfunctioned, but after reporting this to the staff we were very swiftly and kindly relocated to another almost identical room one floor up.
We both loved the stay in this hotel and for our next visit to Berlin we will absolutely be looking to check in there again.

Wonderful staff

Very good customer service. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate our requests. They were also very kind and helpful. It's not the best location, but that's not a statement on the hotel itself. Our room was clean and it was a pretty good value for the price.

Comfortable and decent in a quiet area

Located in a quiet but nice part of Mitte and close to the u-Bahn, it’s a nice hotel, just a slightly budget version of a Marriott. The check-in was excellent and helpful, there’s a shop with basics in the lobby, the lifts are fine, the rooms are spacious. The room had a textured lino floor rather than carpet which was a bit uncomfortable and the shower could have been stronger. The breakfast spread is decent and the restaurant is busy. They do eggs to order, but you have to know to ask. There’s not too much in the immediate area but if you walk a few streets there are some nice cafes and restaurants, but it’s not a lively area. Walkable to Museum Island, Checkpoint Charlie and the Brandenburg Gate. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again unless we found a good place in a livelier location.

Awful , horrible. Don’t stay in room 626. Trip advisor would not let me post my original post. So this very watered down. Plain and simple. Just don’t go. Because I have been censored!!! By Trip Advisor

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in Room 626 suffered an unexpected technical failure during that period. This is not the standard experience we aim to provide for our guests.
Once the issue was identified, our maintenance team and the air conditioning service company were contacted immediately. The problem has since been fully repaired.

Friendly personnel at reception. We were able to check-in early ( flight arrived at 9.30 am ). Spacious room. Hotel a 5 minute walk from U-Bahn and only a 10 minute trip away from Alexanderplatz. Recommend!
