For the price this is an excellent hotel, the room was very clean, and the staff were super friendly. There are a few items that need updating but overall I would recommend whole heartedly.

1/10 – Avoid this hotel
During our road trip one month from Lithuania via Poland, through the Balkans, and on to Italy, Austria and Czechia, we stayed in 22 budget hotels and this was by far the worst.
We left after less than 10 minutes and booked another hotel despite losing our money. The neighborhood felt rough, with people drinking alcohol on the street outside. Some guests appeared to show signs of substance abuse, and the corridors smelled strongly of cooking grease mixed with a musty, rotten odor. The hotel looked nothing like the listing and did not meet even basic expectations. We cannot recommend staying here.

Stay away from this place!!!

A disastrous trip, more than 1200 € was stolen from one of the hotel rooms!!!! Shameful. I do not recommend it, useless customer service, no clear answer. No surveillance cameras. 1200€!!! A Frenchman's monthly salary stolen during a morning while we were having breakfast. Flee this hotel as quickly as possible. Unprofessional, no compensation: nothing. We don't feel safe even with the doors locked. What a shame!!!

Disappointment

Have stayed three nights at the hotel and can not say that I am very impressed and would think both once and twice before booking again. The staff was not very service minded but felt mostly to inconvenience. The hotel is run down with dirty and stained carpets both in the corridors and in the two rooms we had at our disposal.
The rooms didn't feel clean, the beds were uncomfortable and the TVs lacked a working internet connection to be able to see other things than the German channels that existed, even though streaming apps were on the TV.
Breakfast was right picked when we came down to eat and it was hard to find parking.

The building is unfortunately very outdated; pretty much the only ventilation in the room was in the toilet/bathroom which worked only when the motion activated lights were on. We also noticed black mold in the ceiling corner of our shower. Only ventilation option in the room was opening the windows and the noises from the street (frequent ambulances (expected from Berlin, of course), other quests who were partying and smoking outside etc.) disturbed our sleep. Since the building is fairly old, we didn’t expect perfection, however the horribly stained carpets and door frames that were basically falling apart were not a part of our expectations. Most of the reception staff were kind and very accommodating, however a few were very rude (this could be due the lack of air conditioning in the lobby as well, those poor workers were sweating). Breakfast was good enough, however I’d wish for more variety even on a weekly basis. We stayed for 8 nights and breakfast was identical every single day.
