Great stay and location!

We really liked enjoyed our stay, although it was a city break so only there for sleep and breakfast, but both was great! Quiet, large room, amazing ceilings and iconic rooms, fab lift! good shower, yummy breakfast, great service overall - we had an early flight so we also had a little breakfast bag ready on leave! Thank you - would highly recommend!

No passion at this hotel!

For a citytrip this hotel is fine. It is in a very nice area and 5 minutes walk from Kurfustendam Where you can take a metro or shop at the exclusive shops.
The hotel is very authentic and basic. If you dont like this just dont book it. For families with little children I would not recommend this. It is based on the 4th Floor and the elevator is that small a buggy does not fit.
The only major minus is the guestlady who owns or works there. She has no passion. Is not giving you a warm feeling. In matter effect despite our sons(1.2 years old) flue(he throw up first night) we left 2 nights earlier. We hoped she would offer us a deal to give 1 night free, but that was absolutely not what she could do. So she gave 10%. Allright I Can Imagine that, but the way she treated us was absolute insane.

Good value for money. Easy for tube and bus.

The building is of the turn of the last century, so many quirky features remain, especially the quirky lift. All is very clean, nice and warm. Showers and loo are built in extras, are very small but work perfectly. Comfy beds. Breakfast was good. Take my advise if you are offered the bunch of keys with "the short front door key" decline with thanks.

Great location, comfortable bed

Stayed here for 3 nights when sightseeing in Berlin. We we're slightly after 6 on arrival but I called and this was no problem.
The hotel is on the 4th floor of an old building. Easily accessible by an old fashioned lift.
Staff are very friendly and the breakfast is good for toast, breads, Jams etc.
Our room was lovely but we didn't have a terrace.
The only thing that this hotel lacks is privacy. It's quite noisy inside and outside in the mornings.
We would definitely go back for a sightseeing break but would choose somewhere else for a romantic break.
The local area is also really nice here with restaurants and a fantastic takeaway nearby at less than tourist prices.

A very good experience

I feel very. good , I. will be. back. again here when I came in Berlin , nice personal , good breckfest, clean room,interesting building and excelent location , so we have a very good experience !!!!!!
