Near Schonefeld SXF

We stayed here a couple of days because we arrived in the evening and departed on an early morning flight. 10 minutes by cab. The Hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The food was very good. Not far from the train to take you to Berlin central. The neighbourhood is safe and very quiet. Very relaxed. Enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again

Cancellation due to overbooking 2 hours before arrival!!!

I can't rate anything from the hotel, as the double room was suddenly cancelled on the day of arrival at 5pm due to overbooking.
No alternative accommodation was offered to me... nothing!
I had booked the room 2 days before, I was confirmed this, as well as my check-in time at about 7pm.
Unbelievable!!! Cancellation 2 hours before arrival...without accommodation with child in Berlin :(
I've never seen anything like it.

Not reasonable

Unreasonable, smelly and dirty, just bottom drawer. I cannot imagine how such accommodation can be arranged. Breakfast was plentiful ,but the dining room is totally run down,every glass on the shelf was dusty. And then 85 euros for a double room!6

Overall it is fine

The best part of this hotel is the location, close to the airport. Staff was nice, although the communication was difficult because of their poor English. Not really satisfied with breakfast, but overall it was fine. The room was big and with all the essential for a comfortable sleeping. It is not a cool or elegant hotel, but it is surely a good compromise to save money.

Friendly, family-owned hotel

We booked one night, since our flight arrived very late.
The owner came to pick us up from the airport, free of charge.
The room was fine and as expected.
The breakfast was good, with several options.
Again, the owner was friendly to show us the way to go for the nearby bus station.
