Last time review Fantastic with 5 stars now unfortunately with smears

After we were so excited about this pearl last time we wanted to spend our wedding day here again. This time with family, because it was the 10 year old, we booked 2 tower suites. We communicated early on the wish, if possible, of our dream suite 801. We also asked if the tower suites could be next to each other with the family or at least on the same floor. Unfortunately, not one wish was fulfilled and the family is housed on 2 different floors. The statement of the listless, rather annoyed reception staff that day (although no one else was at the reception) was that the suites are all the same. But it was about being close to the family. The reception of the lady and gentleman was cold throughout. No friendly welcome, no flow info etc. Since we got through very well we were already on site around 1.30pm and we were allowed in the lounge to wait for our guaranteed check in at 3pm. At 3pm it was announced that the suites were not yet ready. Around 15.30 we were allowed to move into the suites. The gentleman for the suitcases wanted to give us our 4th. Do not give out suitcases because he unkindly insisted we had given him too little baggage slip. After some time, the receptionist then drew his attention to the correct number of luggage and we got our suitcase.In the bathroom the predecessor used the bathroom goods packages and closed them again,so no contents. Body lotion and hair conditioner were not replenished.The TV did not work....Thanks to the friendly concierge, the error could be quickly fixed. Tower Suite 525 is by no means like the 801. At 5.30am the day has to start here because in the lounge, probably above us, chairs are pushed, it bangs and bangs loudly.Pretty much all day.At 10pm the same. The recovery from last time is not given here.
On December 22nd we enjoyed our great dinner at the house, on the occasion of our wedding anniversary, with a very friendly and competent service. Thank you to the nice gentlemen. Breakfast and breakfast staff as always TOP. It is and will remain a great hotel but this time with many compromises.

Für unser Empfangsteam, welches nicht mit der üblichen Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz überzeugte, möchten wir uns aufrichtig entschuldigen. Zudem bitten wir dafür um Verzeihung, dass Sie Ihre Suiten nicht auf der selben Etage und auch nicht in einwandfreiem Zustand erhielten. Selbstverständlich werden wir Ihr Feedback zum Anlass nehmen, mit den zuständigen Kollegen Rücksprache zu halten. Hoffentlich dürfen wir Sie eines Tages erneut willkommen heißen und die Erfahrungen Ihres ersten Besuches wieder aufleben zu lassen.

Good hotel in a great area, a bit out of the beaten tourist track - but easy access to the area by metro or bicycle. Lovely area to walk around with many cafes and restaurants. It also offers fairly easy access to the airport, but it requires two changes. Breakfast was also great, but expensive if you haven’t pre-booked it. Tip! Ask for a room with a balcony and on the lower floors so that you can use the stairs (elevators are very slow and often with a long wait).

Location near Ubahn, nice clean large rooms with free minibar. Wellness in facility (pay extra 10euro-very cheap). 4/5.

Very kind staff, especially Negin, great breakfast, and a nice hotel in general. Really, enjoyed our time there!

Absolute recommendation, quiet, well-connected, super comfortable

Rarely have I felt so comfortable in a hotel. Had an absolute standard room, sufficiently large, super comfortable, reading chair, possibility to work, excellent bathroom, super bed and the highlight: a small balcony with table and chairs. I had a room facing the street on the second floor and looked into trees and heard the fountain of Prager Platz splashing in the background. Super nice gesture: the minibar is on the house and is refilled every day. It doesn't cost the world, but being able to drink an after-work cola on the small balcony is just super relaxing. Such things make a difference. Fitness area also excellent, breakfast not sensational but good, location very quiet, but still well-connected. I wouldn't know why I should choose another hotel in Berlin again.
