Another excellent stay!
I have stayed here many times and always get a warm, friendly welcome.
Great staff.
Room 234 was comfortable, clean, quiet and had everything you would need for a great stay - great shower and toiletries, tea and coffee facilities and a small balcony.
Highly recommend staying here and will be back next time I am in Berlin.

A fantastic surprise in Berlin – excellent value and location
I stayed at Mercure Hotel Berlin Wittenbergplatz and it completely exceeded my expectations.
From the moment I arrived, I realised this was much more than a typical Mercure hotel. The property feels modern, stylish, and exceptionally well maintained. What impressed me most was the room: spacious, elegant, and far more luxurious than I expected for this category of hotel. The design was contemporary, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was spotless.
The location is another major advantage. The hotel is just a short walk from the Wittenbergplatz U-Bahn station, making it incredibly easy to reach any part of Berlin. There are also plenty of restaurants, cafés, shops, and even a supermarket nearby, which made the stay particularly convenient.
A useful tip for future visitors: if you're planning to explore Berlin primarily by public transport, it's hard to find a better location. The nearby U-Bahn connections allow you to reach most of the city's major attractions quickly and efficiently.
The staff were welcoming and professional, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt relaxed and comfortable. It struck the perfect balance between quality, convenience, and value for money.
Having stayed in many hotels across Europe, this was one of those rare properties that pleasantly surprises you. The room quality, location, and overall experience were all above what I expected when booking.
A genuinely excellent discovery in Berlin, and one I would not hesitate to book again. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit to the city.

Nice modern rooms
This hotel is in a great location if you need to be in this part of the city - a short walk to loads of good shopping and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Checking in was quick and friendly and the staff are welcoming, but a comfortable and pleasant lobby area, with lots of seating and a decent bar area at the rear.
My room was on the first floor and a standard offering, which was fine for a couple of nights. The air-conditioning didn’t seem to be working and the king bed had two duvets, but otherwise it was comfortable. Decent lighting and electric sockets next to the bed was handy and it had a nice modern feel and spacious enough. The bathroom continued the modern feel and had a decent large walk-in shower. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and although the toiletries were in small bottles they were nice enough. Storage space was adequate for a two night stay.
Overall it was a comfortable and modern stay and if I would pick it again.
