A rather unusual place, but cool in its own way and with a hip atmosphere. The style is simple and raw, with some interesting design details. The hotel is located in a very industrial area, which was not really to my taste, but it worked fine for one night.
One downside was that there was no TV in the room. The car park is also a gravel lot, which is not particularly convenient when carrying or pulling a suitcase.
Another issue was the “barception” concept, where the bar and reception share the same staff. In the middle of checking us in, the receptionist started helping a couple at the bar by rearranging their seating, setting their table, and serving wine and nuts. This felt a little frustrating, as I simply wanted to finish checking in and go to bed after a long drive.
On a very positive note, they were incredibly kind to my dog and even gave him treats, which I really appreciated. It is always lovely when a hotel makes pets feel genuinely welcome.

We have stayed in this hotel before, and it is still a very nice hotel. There is a climat controller which we can’t get to work, this time and last time (followed the instructions on the card but temperature doesn’t go down) and unfortunately the room was quite hot at night. Was going to wash my (very long and thick) hair but found out the schampoo bottle was empty. I know that I could probably call and get it but when in shower you don’t.
No breakfast this time, it was good but really expensive.

Interesting architecture, not very helpful service.

The check-in was friendly and efficient. The room was sufficiently large and, like the entire hotel, interestingly designed. Since the hotel is located in a former silo, you can see the old concrete walls. The cables were laid on the surface, and the switches have a Bakelite look. Additionally, a lot of steel was used. Overall, a beautifully designed establishment. Unfortunately, the air conditioning could not be adjusted; on the contrary, the temperature continued to rise. When we left the hotel in the evening to go out for dinner, I requested that the air conditioning be repaired during our absence and then set to 18 degrees. When we returned to the room after midnight, the air conditioning was turned off and the temperature had continued to rise. There was no chance of sleep that night. Turning off the air conditioning at 30 degrees Celsius outside is outrageous. I reported the problem at check-out. Initially, they shrugged and apologized. After I indicated that this was not sufficient, they made an effort in the following days to arrange for compensation. Next to the hotel, there is a large public parking lot, which is paid. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city center along the Weser.

High gloss with some scratches

Great idea to conjure a hotel from a silo.
We stayed on the 10th floor with very nice views.
Photos did not come through the inside as well as outside dirty windows.
The room was visually pleasing. Practically negatively noticed:
- at a daytime temperature outside 2 degrees Celsius, were in the room 20 degrees Celsius. The air conditioning could not be regulated, even with the help of the reception. We froze on both days, especially when showering.
- on the sink the drain is not closable, not very ecological, especially when shaving.
- the rigid faucet is gone when washing.
- Breakfast is outsourced to the vitamin store located in the same house. It is not recommended to order “a la carte”, here the price starts (about 50€ for 2 people). Better is buffet for 12.50€/person.

vielen Dank für deine Bewertung und dein Feedback. Es freut uns sehr, dass dir die Idee, ein ehemaliges Silo in ein Hotel zu verwandeln, gefallen hat und du die Aussicht aus dem 10. Stock sowie die Gestaltung des Zimmers positiv wahrgenommen hast.
Gleichzeitig bedauern wir, dass dein Aufenthalt durch die für dich zu niedrige Raumtemperatur beeinträchtigt wurde. Dass sich die Klimaanlage trotz Unterstützung durch unser Team nicht zu deiner Zufriedenheit regulieren ließ, entspricht nicht dem Erlebnis, das wir unseren Gästen bieten möchten.
Auch deine Anmerkungen zur Ausstattung des Badezimmers sowie zu den Fensterscheiben nehmen wir dankend auf und werden diese intern prüfen. Vielen Dank zudem für deine Hinweise zum Frühstücksangebot, das geben wir unserem Partner, dem Vitaminlager, weiter!
Wir schätzen dein ehrliches Feedback sehr, denn es hilft uns dabei, unser Angebot kontinuierlich zu verbessern. Vielleicht dürfen wir dich künftig noch einmal bei uns begrüßen und stärker von unserem Konzept überzeugen.

Great architecture - worth seeing

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. We booked two out of four Best Stuuv, the largest rooms in the 10th. On the second floor, there is only the loft or the 11th floor. Stock for events. The reception at the Hotel von Christian was very warm and makes you arrive equally well. He also had tips for the city. Super! The hotel and rooms are architecturally great and very clean. The view very nice. We can only recommend the booked breakfast in the vitamin store to a limited extent, egg dishes etc. cost extra, a seat for hotel guests was not guaranteed. You have to reserve, otherwise you can only sit for a limited time. The selection is rather mawkish, ham, cheese etc. not high quality. No cereal, just hard boiled eggs etc.. On the first day, tongs were missing from the rolls and croissants, on the second O-juice. There was an event at the hotel on both evenings - a 70th anniversary of the Birthday and a wedding. This was also communicated beforehand because of a possible noise nuisance in the rooms, other rooms were offered, which we find very good. But the fact that you can't have a drink on the terrace in front of the hotel as a hotel guest (because reserved exclusively for the wedding) leaves you surprised. A small area (one/two tables) for hotel guests would have been nice. The wedding was celebrated with open windows until the morning. Bass, shouting and heels send their regards. We suspect it would have been heard in the rooms further down. After midnight you could have celebrated - as usual - on room volume. As a big plus, we would like to note that the staff is very friendly and endeavoured to make you feel comfortable as a guest. The food options nearby (hop catcher and Zio Manu) are not good value for money.
