Fifth visit
We have just returned home following our fifth visit and yet again had an excellent stay.
Why do we keep returning?
- The apartments have been developed to the highest standard and are very well equipped
- You can have an excellent breakfast hamper delivered to your door
- Bullay offers scenic walks and riverside cycle paths & there’s a choice of wineries and eating places. There’s also a new Edeka supermarket.
- Just 5 minutes walk takes you to the station & trains to Trier & Koblenz.
- Ulrike and Hans are wonderful hosts and speak excellent English
We are looking forward to visit number six!

Very nice - better than expected
On our bike trip from Trier to Koblenz we stayed one night at Feriendomzil apartments in Bullay. This accommodation exceeded our expectations. We were warmly greeted (which one should not take for granted in Germany). The apartment was spottlessly clean, it had fridge, with beer, water and wine at low price and a senseo coffee machine, with tee and coffe pads and we even had our own balcony. The breakfast was served in a local bakery nearby, we loved it, a buffee with lot of diffrent options. I would stay there again and I give it my best reccomadation.

Fantastic Apartment in a picturesque setting
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of October. I can't praise the venue and owners enough, we truely had a great time. We stayed in Apartment 6. After travelling from the UK, we arrived at the apartment just after 7pm at night, having already called ahead to let them know we would not make the 6pm checkin deadline. The owners were absolutely fine with us arriving late and made us feel very welcome. They even offered us use of a garage below our apartment for the duration of our stay. At €73 a night, we felt it was good value. Apartments 6 and 7 are newer than the rest of the property and are extremely well maintained and equiped. It was so tidy, that we could have been the first people that season to stay in Apartment 6, not the last of the season! The bed was firm but very comfortable and my husband who doesn't sleep well had the best nights sleep in months. The bathroom was nice and the shower hot! Location wise, the apartment is in easy walking distance of several wine restuarants, a beer garden, bakery and trainstation ( the nearest cashpoint is at the trainstation). The apartment also comes with a free pass for use on the local public transport, so on the saturday we hoped on the 711 bus and travelled from Bullay to Cochem, taking in all the sights as the bus travelled along side the river ( perfect for this time of year when it was cold outside). Had we visited in the summer then we would have taken a boat tour on the river. On the sunday we walked along the water front from Bullay to Zell. The apartment offers several options for breakfast from a simply bread roll to a breakfast basket for €8 each, which really was plenty of food. The baskets were always outside the room by 7.30am. Would I stay here again? Yes. Bullay was a lovely, but quiet village, perfect for a long weekend and the apartment was really nice and just what we needed.

An excellent apartment
A lovely apartment with a balcony overlooking the square and was lovely and sunny. Its very clean and has everything one would need for a stay of a few days. It is a short walk to the station but our host drove us to the station when we were leaving, which was very kind. Bullay is a great spot to stay as you can visit Koblenz and Trier by train. The hosts are very nice and friendly. Unfortunately we were there just before the season actually started so there wasn't much open for dinner. But would recommend the Acropolis restaurant as the food is great. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope we can return in the future.

Another perfect stay!
This was our 4th time staying at Feriendomizil am Lindenplatz and it was just as wonderful as ever. Super clean, modern and spacious apartment, great location steps from the river, comfortable bed, lovely balcony, breakfast rolls delivered to our door every morning, friendly and gracious hosts - these are the reasons we keep coming back.
Some extras we appreciate: the wine and cheese party on Friday evenings and the free transport pass for local trains and buses (from Moselkern in the north to Traben-Trarbach in the south).
We love staying here ... we'll be back!
