A little gem!

Our second stay in this superb family run b&b.
The trip took in 6 different hotels, but this is our favourite. Friendly service, nice rooms and an excellent breakfast.
It is situated up a hill from the town, but you get the views and peace and quiet.

Travelling Around the mosel region

Great little place on the mosel rivier, staf very friendly. Rooms tidy and neat , not city center but ideally located with car accessibility and parking
Family room good value for money and the breakfast is delicious.

Hard working Sabine is a perfect host

This Pension isn’t in the center of town nor does it have a great view of the Mosel River but it has everything anyone would want in a place to stay. Rooms were spotless, modern, quiet and comfortable. Outdoor patio was a plus. Sabine is a perfect host who spoke English and was very helpful with local information. Her hard work is evident everywhere but especially with the breakfasts. They included a wide variety of items from fresh breads, fruits, eggs, yogurt, cereals, juice and more, all presented in a clean and well stocked buffet. We were more than happy with our 4 night stay here.

Excellent and lovely pension

My wife and adult daughter stayed here for 5 days as we explored the Mosel River region. The host and hostess were excellent and very helpful with answering any questions about the area. The breakfast buffet every morning was filled with fresh bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, etc, and was simply delicious. The rooms and bathroom were immaculate and very comfortable. The central part of Cochem is within walking distance. However, be ready for walking up and down a fairly steep hill. No problem if you are ready for it. One can catch a train about every hour going either west to Trier or east to Koblenz for day trips along the Mosel river.

Lovely guest house

Arrived to a nice friendly welcome . Shown to our room which was bright clean , airy and tastefully decorated . the en suite toilet and shower was also immaculate . The bed , although a large double had two foam mattresses which were very comfy . There was also a tilt and open door which opened up on to a patio with a table and two chairs . Breakfast was typical German with cold meats cheese , bread , fruit , cereal and various fruit ,jams and yoghurt . Not forgetting coffee and tea .
It was tasty and well presented .
There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room . But in the lobby there is a fresh coffee machine and a fridge with beers and chocolate etc . This is on an honesty basis and is self recorded on a slip and presented at the end of our stay .
The house is situated about half a mile from town and is on a hill which is not too bad .
All in all we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this guest house .
