Nice room, great breakfast and save parking for motorcycles

Stayed here one night in may with a friend. We were soaking wet from driving in the rain so this was a great welcome. The room is big, has a great shower and a big, comfy bed. There is no fridge or airco but that wasn't needed at all. Our 2 bikes could easily fit in the private garage and the view from our room was amazing!
If you are looking for a cheap place to stay with a save spot for your bike within a 10 min walking distance from downtown Cochem, this is where you should go!

Nice place, good price

Pros:
Nice sized queen (w/split in matresses), black out blinds, nice view of the castle across the river, far enough to be quiet, close enough to be convenient, nice typical German breakfast included, good price, parking is convenient and included
Cons:
The "private" bath is actually shared w/the other room. The room has only a washbasin. Stairs to upper levels are steep and could be tough for those with limited mobility

Clean, Quiet & Great Location

This small pension hotel, with about 10 or 12 rooms is near the old town hustle and bustle, but across the river in a quiet neighborhood. About a 15 minute walk to the major shopping areas, restaurants and other sight-seeing. Wonderful view of the castle and river from the front upper rooms. We stayed in Room #5 and had excellent views. Nice long walking paths along the river found right in front of the hotel. Free parking, good breakfast and very friendly, English-speaking landlady. Highly recommended for your adventure to Cochem!

Gastehaus Ohlberger-Heib

This is a great place to stay in Cochem. Central location on busy tourist street. Request a view of the river area and you can look out the window over the street to the river. HOWEVER, there is a little street noise from below. Breakfast is served in a sun filled dining area and provides a good start to the day.

Wonderful hotel with great views of the castle

This wonderful guesthouse is perfect for a stay in Cochem. Monika is so nice and helpful. She is a wonderful cook too. We stayed here three nights and loved the view of the castle as its lite up at night. The rooms were large with a nice view of the river. Since the guesthouse is across the bridge, it was very quiet and peaceful. Its only a 10-15 minute walk to town. I would highly recommend this guesthouse
