The location of the hotel is slightly biased, and it may not be convenient for people who go to the town for the first time to go to other parts of the town by car. However, there is a large supermarket next to the hotel, which makes it easy to buy daily necessities. The rooms are very clean and quiet, with simple tables and chairs. The store is serviced in different hours, about 2 hours in the morning, 5 pm to slightly longer in the evening, there are no staff at the front desk during other times, you need to pay attention to their working hours when checking in. The room was clean and no need to worry, this should be the best.

Pizza not so good TBH

This review refers to food ordered via Lieferando. Well, don't go for pizza it's rather plain, smallish but at least expensive as for what you get. There are better places with delivery around the town.

Visited again after a few years

The Freizeit Treff group in Darmstadt use the Garda as one of there regular Friday evening meetings places. So last night it was Garda so I decided to try it again. The interior has not changed, it could do with refreshing. I noticed that most of the group did not order anything else, it did make me wonder. As I was hungry I tried their Fitness Menu' and had Rigatoni with Turkey pices and pesto sauce. My dish was terribly salty. The pasta was OK and cooked Al Denti. The service was OK and you get a small Bruchetta and a slice of garlic pizza bread before your meal. Maybe it was only this Friday and the weather but without out group Garda would have been nearly empty. I will meet my Freizeit Group there again but not sure I will eat...

Simple, nice hotel, clean, good staff.

We have been there for business in Frankfurt.
The rooms are smal but very clean.
We did eat twice in the restaurant and the food was allright.
The only pity was the breakfast. The owner bakes as much croissants as there are guests, So when some one eats more than one croissant you could have none...

Basic hotel , clean and tidy - great staff and lovely food.

Hotel is Basic but its clean and tidy. The bed was ok, the aircon worked but was noisy. The bathroom had a good shower, good hot water & hairdryer.
TV was ok. The room had a balcony which was nice on a hot evening - not a great view but nice for the fresh air.
The Restaurant was attached to the Hotel. The menu was only in German but the waiter "Salvador" very helpful, and translated. I ordered a bespoke starter and main.
Starter was a garden salad, very large portion - very fresh
Main was a steak - medium , supplied with roasted veg - carrots, broccoli, cauli.
House Red wine was nice.
The room was quiet and had a good night’s sleep.
Wifi was excellent 5Mb up/down
