The hotel itself was excellent, the room was very comfortable and clean. The bar and restaurant were also very good. Downside was the extortionate price they charge for one nights parking in the underground car park. 28 Euros for less than 24 hours parking is really taking a liberty. Took the shine of what was otherwise a great stay.

Very nice in Duren

Plenty of smiling staff when we checked in last night. Unfortunately this was just an overnight stop. The A/C was on and the room was very nice after sweating at the last stop.
We had a marvelous buffet dinner with the brigade looking good. The salmon was cooked to perfection and I have no complaints about the rest of the food, Bravo.
My room was spotless and very comfortable.
Breakfast service was again very good.

Rooms not clean and staff unprofessional and not interested

Rooms are not clean. One room smelled like urine so room changed. The exchanged room also not clean: hair in the sink. In our room visible nuts under the table. Dinner was really bad. Chairs full of crumbs. Blackened quesedillas with very little filling. Our complaint was not addressed. Breakfast below par: scrambled eggs dry and tasted old, tea not replenished and inconsiderate staff do not provide help with coffee and tea machines (a long queue of people who do not know how it works). Parking garage 28 euros?! Impersonal hotel with unprofessional and uninterested staff and should take a leaf out of Holiday Inn!

Sustainability at the expense of service.

Beds and towels in the room are only changed every two days due to the sustainability concept.
There is no wardrobe in the room.
One must store their clothing in the coat rack and hat shelf.

Crime fiction dinner

We were looking forward to the crime dinner at the Dorint Hotel,but the actors were not professional,the food was touted as a 4 course menu,but was not good.The appetizer was OK but the main course, veal nut was a cheek.2 thin slices,dry with 1 spoon of sauce,1 spoon of potato gratin and 1 spoon of wiring vegetables.The dessert 1 spoon of cream and 1 spoon of groats.1x and never again.Our whole table was just as disappointed by the way.89€ for this an outrage.
