Excellent stay – best choice in MedienHafen
We had a wonderful stay at INNSiDE by Meliá Düsseldorf. The location in MedienHafen is perfect, with great connections and fantastic views. Our room was spotless and extremely clean, with an amazing view over the harbor and even towards the Altstadt.
The lounge bar on the top floor is a real highlight – stylish, relaxed, and a great place to enjoy a drink with a view. The staff were super friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which really made a difference.
A big plus is the free minibar, which adds to the overall comfort and value. Everything about the hotel felt pleasant and well thought out.
Parking is available but very limited, so make sure to reserve a spot in advance if you’re coming by car.
We have stayed in all the hotels in MedienHafen over the years, and this one is by far the best choice. Excellent value for money and overall the best experience in the area. Highly recommended!

appaling experience
Stayed in rhe hotel 3 nights for interpack trade fair in May 2026 together with my husband. I liked the location in the rather quiet harbour area, but the room walls are so thin that you even hear the electric window blinds from next door move up and down, or the movement of the elevators outside. The room was quite spacious, well cleaned, and the beds comfortable. The really appaling thing though was that my husband, who stayed 2 nights longer than me, got his things removed from the hotel room after I checked out. As he wanted to enter the room after work at the trade fair his room card did not work anymore. The hotel staff had taken his personal things fom the room and put them in a bag in a storage room!! He even had to discuss with the people at the check-in desk that they gave him back the room which had been booked for him foe another 2 nights!! I'v never experienced such an UNPROFESSIONAL, INCONSIDERATE WAY OF WORKING in my life, and I travelled a lot. If you are staying at Innside, be aware ...

All around a very nice stay
We arrived in pairs with our dog. We ate wonderfully on the first night upstairs in the restaurant. The service was great.
At times evening we were in the bar with a beautiful view over the Düsseldorf harbour, Ivan and Asam provided us wonderfully with delicious drinks / coktails
We will be back soon and look forward to it.

It takes far too long to be served.....
The bar overlooking the media port is chicly decorated. Unfortunately, the waiters are completely overwhelmed. Despite repeated attention-grabbing, a waiter did not come until the glasses had been empty on the table for over half an hour. And no - it wasn't a staff emergency, we have enough experience for that, because we do catering ourselves. After all, it was a good example of how it cannot be done! Because the bar would have been on ALL that night! tables can easily make double the turnover. Anyway, we are frustrated - long waiting times just annoying!
