We booked a Large Room, which was advertised online as being 20 square metres, but the actual room felt much smaller than expected. Despite the limited space, the room was still equipped with a sofa bed, which made the room feel even more cramped. The room was also quite dusty and did not seem to have been cleaned thoroughly.
There was no air conditioning, and the only fan provided had a broken blade, making it unsuitable for proper use. The room also featured a vinyl record player and records, which looked like a nice idea, but unfortunately, the record player was not working either.
The bathroom was extremely small. The hot water tap in the shower required a lot of force to turn on, and the shower head could not be properly fixed in place, which made showering quite inconvenient.
The breakfast selection was also very limited and not particularly appealing.

The room was stylish, clean and generally in good condition, with a comfortable bed and plenty of character. I knew in advance that it would be compact and would not have air-conditioning, but during the hot weather the lack of climate control did make the room uncomfortable. The bathroom was also very small but functional enough.
The basketball hoop was a fun design touch, although the room was too cramped to use it properly — I would honestly have preferred air-conditioning. Check-in was combined with the bar and was not immediately obvious when I arrived at around 10pm. The staff member who eventually checked me in was not rude, but the initial welcome felt a little abrupt and not particularly friendly. Overall, the hotel looked great and was well located, but I found it less practical than similarly compact hotels such as ibis Budget or easyHotel. I probably would not stay again.

Cozy, but avoid if you want to sleep at night

Charming small-scale hotel in central city location. Nice decor and friendly staff. The breakfast was adequate and tasty. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning, which on the hot weekend we were there, was a huge problem. The room was warm and could hardly be cooled with the fan, while you could not open the window due to the very noisy environment. So it was either air and no sleep from the noise, or less noise and no air and therefore no sleep. Even the 'quiet room' we had booked turned out to be still hot and noisy, so that was a huge turn-off. Until they install air conditioning, this hotel is a fence and I feel bought.

We arrived a bit early, but we were welcomed and had our rooms well before check in. The hotel is beautifully decorated and well maintained. The breakfast was very good. I highly recommend this hôtel as it’s centrally located.
