Convient, with clean and quiet rooms, comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Dogfriendly! The underground parking was a bit tight, but well placed with direct access.

I had a very pleasant stay overall and would happily consider staying here again.
The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming and professional, and the service throughout my stay was excellent. The breakfast was definitely a highlight – the scrambled eggs were absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the grilled vegetables.
The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Personally, I would have enjoyed a better view and a small balcony, but that's more a matter of personal preference than a complaint.
There were a couple of things that could be improved. The three-course dinner was a bit underwhelming compared to the rest of the experience, and the cocktails were fairly average. I also had to reactivate my room key every morning after breakfast, which became a little inconvenient.
Overall, the positives clearly outweighed the negatives. The wonderful staff and excellent breakfast made the stay enjoyable, and I left with a positive impression. Thank you for your hospitality!

Staff was friendly and check-in was quick. The room was large, clean and had a new feel to it. Bathroom was large, the shower was great and a mirror with good lighting.
Breakfast was good and location great whether you wanted to find nice places to eat, get around the city or go for a run by the Rhine.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE
I strongly advise all travellers to avoid this hotel due to its outrageously unfair cancellation policy.
I made a reservation for a stay from 17 Oct to 28 Oct, and had to cancel three full months ahead of check-in because my German visa application failed and my entire travel plan fell through. Shockingly, the hotel insisted on deducting 90% of the full booking cost as a cancellation penalty. This requirement is utterly ridiculous and unreasonable.
Cancelling three months in advance gives the hotel more than ample time to resell all reserved rooms to other guests. They face zero financial loss from my cancellation, yet they demand nearly the whole payment from me. The staff refused any flexible solution or partial refund and stuck rigidly to this harsh rule without any empathy for unforeseen visa issues.
This greedy, inflexible policy completely ruined my impression of Radisson Blu. I will never book this property again and will warn all my business partners against it.

However, your reservation was made under our prepaid, non-refundable rate. At the time of booking, two rate options were available: a lower-priced rate with non-refundable conditions and a higher-priced flexible rate that allowed cancellation without charge. By selecting the prepaid rate, the associated cancellation terms were accepted as part of the booking.
We understand your view that the hotel may be able to resell the room. However, the cancellation policy is not based on whether a room might later be resold. The discounted prepaid rate is offered in exchange for a commitment that the reservation is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. If exceptions were made whenever a room could potentially be resold, there would be no meaningful distinction between our flexible and non-refundable rates.
We would also like to point out that your request was specifically for the cancellation of your reservation. Had you wished to amend your travel dates instead, we would have been happy to review such a request and, where operationally possible, accommodate a date change. Unfortunately, a request to cancel the reservation entirely remains subject to the cancellation conditions of the rate selected at the time of booking.
While we sympathize with the circumstances surrounding your visa application, visa refusals are unfortunately outside the hotel's control and do not alter the agreed booking conditions. For this reason, many travelers choose to purchase travel insurance, which commonly provides coverage for unforeseen events such as visa refusals, depending on the policy.
