I should gatekeep how great the hotel is!
Rarely do i encounter such a great hotel! Fabulous location; direct connectivity to the Ko Gallerie and neighborhood is minutes from anything u want. Staff is 1000/10- authentic, guest oriented and consistent. Boutique decor, honoring Mme Coco Chanel. The terrace bar is awesome and became a ritual. Huge thanks to all team- esp Pit, Heidi, Mahzar, Siree, and Iryna! The Manageress is also a true delight.

terrible customer service
I arrived after a flight and for a business trip, they couldn't process the pre payment from our corporate travel agen (sent 20 days earlier). The agent sent twice two different cards details but they refuse to do any manual transaction or to send a "pay by link" to our agent (and we are in 2026) but only to their probably obsolete system. Blunt service, unhelpful and especially frustrating staying there with basically no help other than "card is declined"and no interest to help a loyal customer. I had to find another accomodation with our agency stayin over an hour on the phone.
I am also a silver status member and i found incredible such poor customer service, especially compared to the top service i had in a igh hotel in London.

A hidden gem in the middle of town
Ruby opened about eight years ago. Literally steps away from the Koenig’s Allee, Dusseldorf’s famous high end shopping playground. .
Have a nightcap in the bar. Mazhar’s cocktail creations and Irene‘s attentive service will send you off to a well deserved slumber.

I loved staying here. The room was extremely nice. It is the most efficient room I have ever stayed in. The hotel lobby was fun and the staff was so friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Modern hotel concept with style, strong location, and excellent breakfast.
We were three for one night at the Ruby Coco Hotel Düsseldorf and had two double rooms right next to each other. Overall, we really liked the hotel. It appears modern, stylish, and offers a successful concept with some special details.
Positive aspects:
Even the accessibility through the Kö Galerie, a rather luxurious shopping center, is special and makes a particularly good first impression. Upon entering the hotel, everything looks very new, modern, and timelessly furnished. Additionally, the entire area has an extremely pleasant scent, which directly contributes to a high-quality atmosphere.
On the way to the rooms, there is a small refreshment area with snack and beverage vending machines. We particularly appreciated the option to independently obtain hot water and sparkling water. Additionally, one could iron clothes and prepare tea there. This is very practical and well thought out.
The rooms themselves are modern, chic, and beautifully furnished. A real highlight was the Marshall Bluetooth speaker in each room. This is a great detail and clearly sets the hotel apart from many others. The integration of the bathroom into the sleeping area is also visually interesting and fits well with the modern concept.
The sleeping comfort was very good and the surroundings pleasantly quiet. Also very positive was the outdoor terrace, which adds additional charm to the hotel.
We would especially like to highlight the breakfast buffet. At 24 €, it was one of the best breakfast buffets we have seen so far. The selection was varied, the quality very good, and it truly convinced us in terms of taste.
Negative:
The self-check-in required quite a bit of support from the staff. Especially with a modern hotel concept, I would have expected this process to function a bit more intuitively and smoothly.
The open integration of the bathroom into the room looks very nice, but it also brings a practical disadvantage. There is a lack of clear separation from the sleeping area during toilet use, which somewhat limits privacy. Additionally, the shower door was not completely sealed, allowing water to enter the toilet area.
Another point is the sound insulation within the hotel. The surrounding area was quiet, but music from the rooms can be heard quite clearly in the adjacent room and also in the hallway. Since each room is equipped with a good Bluetooth speaker, this can be quite noticeable depending on the guests.
Conclusion:
Overall, the Ruby Coco Hotel Düsseldorf is a very successful hotel with a modern concept, stylish decor, and many thoughtful details. Particularly the location, ambiance, room amenities, terrace, and excellent breakfast convinced us. Despite minor weaknesses in the self-check-in, bathroom solution, and sound insulation, we would clearly recommend the hotel. We also found the pricing attractive.
