Best Place To Live in Düsseldorf

I have been living in serviced apartments and hotels for much of the last 5 years and the apartment at In Town Residences is among the best I’ve encountered and cannot imagine there is a better place to stay in Düsseldorf. The apartment is perfect, well furnished, well equipped and every detail is taken care of. The only thing exceeding the apartment itself is the service that Pascal and his team provide. They have been fantastic during the stressful time of Corona and have made living at In Town as comfortable as I could have ever imagined. There were even nightly live concerts in the courtyard during the lockdown that we could all enjoy from our balcony’s. The restaurants and amenities are top notch. It’s been a pleasure living here and I highly recommend to anyone traveling to Düsseldorf.

Great location, but underwhelming service

Location is amazing with short walks to metro and old town/restaurants.
However, the concierge staff didn't know how to get into our apartment tower, walking us back and forth to find a door that his card would open. Then he didn't leave us with door cards: had to go back to the desk to ask for those, which couldn't be done. Told they'd be dropped to us, which didn't happen. Asked again the next morning to get them.
Also, had a kitchen but next to no cooking gear. Had to ask for the basics of pots, pans, spoons, etc to be brought to us. Which didn't happen, had to go to the front desk myself to get them delivered so we could cook dinner.
Lastly, at check-out, asked for a final print-out so I could claim the expenses. Desk guy couldn't figure out how to print it, so I asked for it to be emailed, and he didn't know how to do that either. He had to take a task to get the boss to do it the next day.
The underwhelming service wasn't a once off. For the 5-star price I expected better.

Luxus im Zentrum

Hier wohnt man zentral und fussläufig zu vielen Attraktionen Düsseldorfs wie die Kö, die Rheinpromenade, die Altstadt, Tonhalle, Theater und Museum. In unmittelbarer Nähe findet man eine gute Auswahl an Restaurants, Bars und Kneipen.
Die neuen stylischen Apartments sind modern und hochwertig eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Die Küche bietet alles um bequem auch kleine Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten (neben der üblichen Küchenausstattung auch Gefrierschrank, Mikrowelle und Geschirrspüler, Nespresso-Maschine). Es gibt jede Menge Stauraum für Kleidung und Gepäck, ebenso eine Waschmaschine und Bügelausstattung.
Schallschutzfenster gewährleisten eine ruhige Nacht auch wenn es in der Düsseldorfer Altstadt laut wird.
Der professionelle wöchentliche Reinigungsservice ermöglicht den Aufenthalt sorgenfrei zu geniessen, man muss sich hier um nichts selbst kümmern. Alles war tip-top sauber.
Die Angliederung an das Hyatt House Hotel erschliesst die Inanspruchnahme der Hotel Annehmlichkeiten wie z.B. einen Cocktail in der schönen Bar oder ein ausgiebiges Frühstück.
Die sichere Parkmöglichkeit bei der Unterkunft ist ebenfalls ein Plus.
Es ist das viel zitierte "home away from home feeling" das uns ganz sicher wiederkommen lässt.
